You see that is the most disgusting thing I seen in members out of territorial alliances. They must assume when want to take thier precious vaccum with rocks away from them.
Give it up, its pathetic, when will people like you realise most people want to use 0.0 for economic growth and not for the fruitless and obviously greed driven land grabbing you think you are accomplishing. People would buy your stuff if you had a consumer base out there outside your closed little economy. But I guess thats the fault of most people and why the majority of the population is stuck in a rout is becuase they cant think outside the box to see oppertunity. -------------------------- Vist the Jericho Fraction Forums

Set up shop in geminate, just passed thru it in my slowass megathron on the way back from curse and it seems about as deserted as it comes. Still, any 0.0 that does not have NPC stations in it will require you to be pvp profecient to a certain degree in order to survive. _______________________________________________

if you can't recruit 20+ players your'e more then likely not able to defend yourself too, part of being in an alliance is keeping the bad boys out or atleast annoy them till they leave, most old alliances have done so succesfully and thus in general in their view have earned that piece of space.
Get yourself up to 20 players or more and most alliances would welcome you (well if there isn't bad blood or ties with enemies, so i don't see the problem.

The problem with Geminate is that there are lots of ebil pirates (like Dianabolic and his friends) nearby, and if they see a shining little dot on the map in an otherwise empty region, one night when they're bored they're going to come sight-seeing.
So I'd not build a POS there.
But it's true, no one actually seems to be using the region.

Answer: dont make a blob bigger then say 5 people in any place. Small blobs are nice to go visit when closeby, not when 20-30 jumps away.
Oh, and since I havent looked at pos details since halfway into singularity i'm not sure wether it is still possible, but when I tried i could fit a POS consisting of a tower, refining array and some other stuff along with enough minerals to keep it online for a decent time into one industrial. All you need to do is set it up, use your scouts at the approaching routes at big distance and watch that map like a hawk. Don;t mine in the system you've got the pos in but one or two jumps away and as soon as something comes your way you offline that tower and take it all down again in that industrial so you can log it off.
I know, not exactly heroic but one way for small corps to use pos as staging ground for opening up the zydrine and megacyte riches of 0.0 space to them.

All would like is a nice 0.0 syetem with like 10+ belts to fund my anti pirate corp, and setup a pos, without joinin' an alliance. even better a v small consteallation of like some 6 system ones about would also be nice.
Any know what happening in solitude and syndicate regions?
Be nice if any alliance wouldn't mind doing sommat like that. If any are get in touch. Sure some muteral agreement could be arranged, like letting that system be a corridor you don't mine in that 1 system and we can be a defensive force coz it'll be a bottle neck.

The only problem with that is the alliances would be giving up a lifeline to a forgien power, The securtity risk would be to high. For an alliance to allow that, you would have to make a very sizable agreement, and at that point you would might as well join an alliance. If I were you i would seriously look into back water 0.0 systems that dead end from empire or a system in the nothern areas, the reason for that being the southern area is controlled by 3 powers who will not let you in without joining them, and will kill you without warning. The northern areas are so unstable that you may be able to sneak into a system and set up shop. You biggest advantage to going to a nothern system is that for the most part all of the alliances up there are un-cordinated and probably wouldnt bother you if you guys kept out of site. Since you are also and anti pirate corp the nothern area is for you as it is infested with BOB. Have fun. ---------

You could always just go down to Querious, some of Delve or some of Period Bassis, i'm sure it would be very easy to sneak past. No alliance really controls the area in force around there either. You wouldnt be able to claim it really...but if you had some fighting forces maybe you could for a little while. Best thing would be not to make a big blip that would show people where you are.

It's not the size of the corp, it's the organization and commitment of it's members, and it's leaders.

99.99 recurring percent of the people in any alliance will pod you as soon as they see you, just because they can. Oh, they'll tell you it's for security reasons or to keep the nasty pirates out but it's not. It's just because they can. They'll complain that they fight off all the rats but it's not because we could live with rats, it's just because they can. They own the sandbox and they don't want anyone else playing in it, it's that simple. They'll tell you it's because they want to protect their territory from corps attacking them but it's not because alliances have such a massive advantage in ISK and troops, no corp could be a threat to them, it's just because they enjoy podding other players, even (especially) if the other players are no threat to them.
