Ok guys I know the CNR V Golem rages all the time, but what about C Raven vs T Raven for Lvl 4`s?
Lets say overall mission times, including looting.
What are your favorite T2 fits up to 500mil for some faction stuff.

All I can say is that if you intend to use a Torp Raven then you had better have some Target Painters installed.
I ran a test earlier today with a Torp CNR using Meta 3 Launchers (so, no, not top of the line) and a couple of CN BCS. I had 4 med. TP drones and 1 web drone. Torps are IV, all other applicable missile skills at V, BS is at V. Tank is considerably more expensive than 500 million. The mission was "The Right Hand of Zazzmatazz"
The result: It took forever to kill things (in comparison to my equally expensive tank, T2 launcher Nighthawk). I was expecting the battleships at least to drop faster since the CNR has considerably more damage in EFT and the drones should have made them nice tasty targets. I didn't time the relative speeds but it sure didn't seem faster.
I'll be testing out Torps later on "Damsel" since somebody recently posted that was a fast mission with a Torp Raven but I'm not optimistic given the first run.
I haven't tested Cruises yet, but I'm betting that the common knowledge on the forum that you should use Cruises on a Raven is good advice.

Well, I find it way too complicated to make a Torp Raven work for PvE. Faction mods to make it fit and give sufficient tank and gank ? No thanks !

This topic is as beaten to death as the other one you refer to.
Outcome is always the same: Torp ravens are no longer viable as of quantum rise, for pve. Torp ravens can complete missions, but a cruise raven will be faster. A bunch of people will come in, and state that they run missions in a torp raven and it works great, only to later on admit(or never show up again) that they havn't actually compared the two, or that they have an irrational fondness of torp ravens. Ravens are easier to fit than CNRs, both can do it, just not with enouth TPs to make it viable. Golems on the other hand get a ton of midslots and fitting - well enough to use 3 or 4 for TP's on top of their ship bonus, making them excel at torps while being worse than CNR with cruise. Parrots, commence!

Would you fit multiple TPs on a cruise CNR then?

Only if I had a crystal set and deadspace booster to back it up.

I've found a T2 rigour and a PWNAGE to be sufficient.
