Is Paladin such a bad option for solo WH exploration? Why are there barely any fittings on Battleclinic of Paladins with a probe launcher? Is a Paladin so much easier to scan down in WH space compared to a Strategic Cruiser? Will sleepers simply shred it to pieces? Feedback is much appreciated.

T3 cruisers are easier to tank because of signature/speed. The paladin can only sit there and tank it like a brick.
Also mass plays a big roll. Paladins are huge, t3 cruisers are small.. Wormholes like small things better unless you want to get stuck somewhere (or not even get in it because of mass limitations on c1/c2 wormholes).

up to C4 pladin is useless (as drones can't be used because they tend to get pooped verry quick) vs fregates and even cruisers. Upclass wh it could work but not solo.
Not to mention that is a BS class so u can get probed verry quicly.
With legion u can tank even better and kill/scan faster.
Cost for a pimped legion is lower than a T2 fit paladin.

cap stable with 400s but you shouldn't be using too many as you can just pulse the repper. Can easily tank c1 c2 c3. for c1 and c2 you can replace a hardener with another heat sink for more dps. This is assuming you have a scan alt. If you dont you can switch one of the mods for one less mid, lose the tacking comp and add a probe launcher. t2 rigs for lolz i dont have them yet as i dont need them but they greatly help the tank.

Well if you have a scanning/hacking/analyzing/salvaging alt it could work well enough. But then it wouldn't really be solo exploration.
