Nuff said. Let's look at all the reasons that warp scrams preventing docking are needed to balance eve:
- Station Huggers: Lots of people hug stations in lo sec and 0.0 in battleships and carriers designed to tank and dock. Carriers can get themselves into crannies of the station so they are totaly unbumpable.
- War Targets: Ever been in a high sec war dec? Well, WTs being able to warp to a station and dock then either undock and redock or stay docked ruins the war dec.
- Jita: The station games outside jita cause an amazing amount of lag. If we prevent them, we can significantly reduce lag in that system.
Here is my proposal:
Warp disruptors will not do this! Only warp scramblers. Warp scramblers scramble a guidance computer, warp disruptors bleed energy into the warp drive. So, a scrambler could be 'adapted' to scramble their docking computer.
Think of all the bait dommies, l33t solo capitals, and station hugging carebears will get a wakeup call.

they also thought that as a counter they were going to give ppl a docked overview to see things outside
but in their version both forms of point would prevent docking
that isnt quite fair, i mean the scrambler should get the priviledge cuz its the short range one. Another option would be a "script" you could load into a scrambler to make it either warp scramble or prevent docking, but not both.
oh and for people who say "no no kill eve" lets look at all the other things that would "kill" eve....
1. warp scrams killing MWDs 2. the web changes 3. T3 4. missile nerf 5. no more cyno DDD 6. faction ship buffs 7. falcon nerf 8. nano nerf in general 9. stacking penalties
the list goes on, for you alarmists.
