before the expansion I have only lost 1 bs. But after the expansion was deployed I lost: Tempest (wich got reinstated) - lvl 4 mission Same tempest again - lvl 4 mission Scorp - customs (they do gank) (petitioned it...still waiting for answer) Raven (First time ever died to PVP...I got bumped by a ceptor, while I was trying to dock. I don't like the new bumping system. I saw a pirate bs "bump" away with 4 km/s, stopping at 200km from me )
Besides those loses I also bought a 100mn mwd for a whooping 129 mil.... and only because it looked like 129k , the new market system only shows me the percentage. yea it's red but the numbers are not that big , I rather have that old message stated that ### is much more then avg of ###
finacial before shiva = 2x bs and 25 mil finacial now = no bs and 110 mil (insurance from the raven) but I'll stop now. *exits thread*
Same here. Before expansion, lost 3 frigates way back. Since, lost a cruiser to a ridiculous mission, lost standing when I told the agent where to shove his mission (since I had no ship to do it, markets were broken)
Lost all the items on the cruiser as I couldn't get a new ship to go rescuew my cargo.
Lost my indy to ganking Concorde, and could not recover anything from it either.
Then got scammed for 111,111,111 for a sheild booster 2, that should have cost 100K. Same reason as you, different warning system that means nothing, and a font that makes it easy to mislead people.
Result, cancelled my account, moved all I had left to corp HQ, filed 2 petitions, 1 was summarily dismissed (watch what ya buy moron), the other (for the concord ganking) still unresponded. Just waiting to hear from that one before I resign as CEO. Headquarters: Nein, Republic Parliament Bureau |

Vast majority of people are obviously not unhappy. If you are that unhappy and you want them to lose their jobs then fire them. Cancel all your accounts. Why am I not experiencing this lag or rubber-band jumps that a few of you keep mentioning?

In the same boat as a lot of people here, never had a problem with eve before exodus, sure i lost ships, but not 3 mallers and 2 destroyers in an hour trying to complete a level 2 mission.
However unlike most i wont leave, will give them a chance to fix it and just keep the training going, already paid up for 6 months, so they have that ammount of time to fix the bugs, if it aint fixed will cancel the account and go back to everquest full time.
Since i havent been able to do anything in game lately everquest is what i have been playing anyways

Wow you eve players are sensitive...
Tehy just unrolled a MAJOR expansion. There WILL be bugs.
For nearly a full year I payed for the 'privilidge' of playing a cyberpunk FPS MMO that had several server crashes a month, half of the features nonworking and the official policy on losing things due to bugs was "you're f@&ked"
you don't know how good you have it. And lag isn't a problem for a LOT of people, don't blame them for your connection.

I'm on a 3mbit line, with a average of 18ms for the EVE cluster. And I got a load of lag in the past few days as well. Quite positive that it wasn't my connection. Annoying when it happens but no big deal, EVE is completely lag free normally for me, so why complain about a bit of lag for a bit after a huge patch.
Agree with you though on the rest, we're spoiled, and spoiled people never realize they are. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

it is true i saw the rubber band effect... while mwd and testing out setups with ships... and some major few sec lag... which i thought the server had crashed...
in caster i hadnt had ctd's for very very long time... but with exodus i had more then a dozen+ already
I just hope they can fix the small instability issues... i know they can fix everything else support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo

Just what exactly is your job? Is it in any way related to software development? Cause if it ain't I really don't think you're in any position to judge. If it *IS* then your just being silly. *ALL* software has bugs, and all software has a *LOT* of bugs. When was the last time you ran a new version of Windows without any problems whatsoever? Or even an older version of Windows without the occasional BSOD and such? How about MacOS? Even Linux?
Ranting and raving about the quality of CCP's code will get you nowhere, nor will it help anyone else. The product they sell you is reasonably stable and reasonably usable, but bugs happen, and sometimes we get screwed over by them. If you're seriously that ****ed off over there code quality why are you still here? Thats an honest question btw. You *know* you cannot change it, so why stick around if you don't like it that much?
Theres no logical answer to that

The work around for the bouncing is the same as it always was.
When approaching a gate at high speed turn on your autopilot. It will start you jumping even if you bounce. Then just turn it off again. You can even shortcut it.
If you are using Instajumps that are set to the middle of the gate instead of 500m outside of it. Whoops
That's one problem solved, otherwise it doesn't sound like your sort of game, maybe try taking a break and come back in the future to see if its more your cup of tea.

All the people who seemingly can't read the bigass font on the markets that quotes the price in ISK for things, I don't think you can really blame CCP for your temporary optical deficiancies. It's far more visible and readable than the % difference.
I must say I'm yet to discover any bugs on Exodus at all, unless you count a bit of lag on undocking from a few stations, and that's not exactly a show stopper.
It's been said before, it'll be said many times again. If you don't like the game, don't carry on paying for it. Sad to see you go and all that, but don't sit here and ***** when you have the option to leave. |

Erm Im afraid your work around isnt gonna cut it atm. You bounce off stations which can delay docking by up to 10 seconds ...more than enough time to die but that isnt nearly the main issue of bouncing
If you gang warp to somewhere a number of ships will bounce off each other and land miles apart which can mean insta gank for the poor soul who lands where you all were supposed to.
Bouncing off other ships is a priority bug imo
For those quitting Im not sure we all need to know though .... just leave your stuff at my door
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.
