Have you been like a so bad experience with something that makes you never try it again or get like freak out with something?
In my case, I hate wormholes....... I used to probe them hard and be inside WH space doing stuff, now I cant bear them for a reason.
I used to destroy sleepers with my retribution and in a day I lost like 4 rigged retributions before small rigs came on the game. I LOST SO MANY ISK.....
also I know somebody who cant bear Ogres drones..... he havent telled us yet but he hate them and tell how much they are useless...

When I first started pvping, back before the nano nerf I lost ishtars sooo quickly and so often. It got to the point where i didnt want to fly them anymore. I took a year break from them even after nanohacs were abolished. Even now though I never fly them except in ratting.

Deimos's. Even though they're awesome ships and they're based on my favorite cruiser hulls, I'm so scared to fly them these days.
I believe it was because of that time I was heading back home after an afternoon of hacking, got ambushed and lost 3 T2 BPC's.

I remember when I got enough isk to get my first BC, a Mrymidon. And then got it promptly blown up uninsured. That was back after Empyrean Age Launched and I quit. Got back into the game when Dominion launched.

Lol that would be your own fault. Ishtars are awesome.
Mine would be losing my first vagabond to a interceptor, solo. I forgot the rule where medium guns couldnt hit small frigates. I had a nice run with my vaga though.

Quickly going afk to check on your sick gf. Then have to go to the shop to get medicen and stuff. Coming back seeing your self in a station with no ship..
It ofcourse can only happen in the most expensive ship you have ever flown.

Old Story, In the old'en days, MWD were one size fits all, my bad experaince was logging in after 4 months away, not reading the patch notes, flying from FA to Empire getting to a gate camp not caring at all since i had a MWD, hit it, and yes the verison I had equiped turned out to be nerfed to a frig mod. So i had to watch as my Apoc (please note this was way before BS were common) was just picked to death by some small half assed gatecamp, I pretty much rage quit for another month before coming back and never using BS to travel again.
I am also staying away from Wormholes after my scanner got killed and the same people randsomed my main for 500mil, the ship i was flying was woth 750mil so i paid it, since that day I have not been back inside WH :/

I think perhaps because Ogres are fail. Ogre IIs, however, are epic - Made by Gallente; for Gallente. On an in-ya-face blaster Myrm, Mega or especially the Domi they are monsters.
I think some players overlook that the Domi ship bonus is not only to drone damage but to drone hit points too, giving Ogre IIs over 4k base hitpoints - that's before resists. Meaning that Ogre II's can take quite a beating before you need to call them in.

As temperature is an attribute of material, and space is the lack thereof,- how can it possibly be cold?
Hint: space is neither cold nor hot, but you can get heated by a sun or of "rubbing" against air when entering atmosphere, meaning you actually have a problem of getting the heat away from your ship.

lets say you release air at 20 degrees C, the space at that point will instantly "rise" to that temperature as there is nearly no mass with -270 c. So you can for most observations just pretend it has no temperature.

The whole blood boiling off thing is probably your biggest concern. That large explosion your ship makes is enough to keep you warm for a bit. Of course none of that really matters because your brain has already been flash fried by your pod on breach anyway.

-1 crow and pod.

oh and never let techzer0 fc, he does crazy awesome **** solo, but once he is in charge everything just goes to hell. or maybe I should say did, dunno if he even plays anymore.
oh and surprisingly jumping blindly into lowsec has never gone poorly for me
and the only blind 0.0 run that went bad was because I was just warping right to gates, got sucked into a drag bubble and bounced off the to empire gate - another crow and pod.

Edited by: Isaac Apylon on 17/03/2010 17:22:45 The Hurricane is sadly my EVE-focused point of trauma, despite it being a great ship, because I flew them too often and too early.
Back when I was a noob, off with my alliance in nullsec, I bought a hurricane for ratting (proudest moment, ever, since I didn't know how to really make isk back then), then proceeded to 'test' it in a lowsec belt with autocannons (my only moment of brilliance). Two flashy ship warp in, 'Cane dies on her maiden flight.
Thankfully, a corpmate loans me 40 mil before I ragequit, and I buy another 'cane (I still feel terrible about that). This cane makes it nullsec alive, then is destroyed when, like the noob I am, I do not pay attention to local. I get jumped by a cloaky nano-sac, goodbye second 'cane.
Not too much later, I buy a third 'cane. This one explodes while ratting (again) to two nano-inties (before the nerf). They commend me on my tank, blow me up, and I get ****ed at my alliance peeps for not saving me (still feel atrociously bad about that, too).
Fourth 'cane is bought, and that one dies to a battle-rorq while attempting to bump it off the station. No rage-quits here, until I realize that I forgot to take off all my ratting mods .
To this day, over a year later, I have yet to buy another Hurricane, despite being absolutely in love with the ship. I always find some pathetic excuse (It's too expensive! Wallet reads: 300 mil) and buy a cyclone instead.
Tl;dr Noob loses 4 'canes in quick succession in null, develops paranoia about buying one forevermore.
