Well,
it's pretty clear that armor hacs don't work in EVE anymore. Not as a counter and not as an alpha fleet. In a niche maybe... but in nullsec warfare it's pointless.

Loki's ... billion isk armor hacs. This video shows -A- who are ordinarly reasonably good PVP-ers trying a Loki "armor hac" doctrine and learning the hard what what the rest of eve has already known for the last 18 months. The reign of the armor hac is over.
You guys really need to read the release notes......

Ach.... you need to learn how to read battle reports.
Last night was epic for both sides, though, an seriously a LOT of fun!
Makalu undocked fleet after fleet after fleet and thrust its proberbial chest onto our pixelated speer. I don't even know how many ships were lost but it was in the hundreds... and many on both sides..... We podded him at least three times and still he kept coming.
Thankfully for him he stopped bringing Loki's (quicker to just undock and self-destruct), but he's still willing to bring his Tier-3 BC lambs to the slaughter.
I know I'm not supposed to give you advice mate, but next time, keep aligned and try to kite.

You're like a sex slave screaming through the apple in his mouth, "TAKE ME TAKE ME TAKE ME". and after the fact you blame everyone ... Us .... your own fleet .... spies (even though you were the one with spies on our comms last night and you knew it wasn't mutual) .... and even "luck" ..... Best entertainment in EVE... Keep it coming.
You know you need to get lucky and win a fight soon to restore your guys' confidence, don't you? At this rate they'll be asking Evildead to take over for you......

It's a good question. The battle reports on eve-kill are compiled based on location and kill mails. If an extended fight happens where people re-ship and reinforcements make kills in the same system it often doesn't represent what was *actually* on grid together.
When we ploughed in to that loki fleet my impression was that odds were fairly even and I actually didn't think we were going to win. but kiting is the Drake's strong point and the loki fleet were too slow (and/or unable due to bubbles) to get off grid fast enough... After all... it's a cruiser sized ship and we were literally killing them faster than we could lock them up.
What you have to understand is that null-sec fleets reach a critical mass at which having logistics is pointless. The problem the enemy fleet was having is that ships were dying faster than logistics could lock them up. With no ability to kite and no ability to run and having their dps limited by us being able to kite outside of their optimal, it was like shooting fish in a barrel.
