Right, i'll exlplain the cryptic topic, this pilot is heavily focused on cruisers and battlecruisers. And currently i am training all my gunnery supports left with about 35 days left in total.
Next in mind i had t2 HAM's and Heavies with perfect missile supports in mind, but on top of that, the thought of training all t2 cruisers aswell as CS to 5 came in mind. This would however also involve training all the racial frigs and cruisers i have left to train.
My eveboard http://eveboard.com/pilot/Reldor_Silverheart
I intend to train both, as i want full cruiser weaponry to be t2 , this includes missiles. Which one do you suggest i go for first?
The missile plan is about 103 days with full level 5 supports, The ship plan is about 234 days. The ship plan contains - All remaining racial frigs and cruisers to 5 - interceptors 4 - CS 5 - Recon 5 - HIC 5 - HAC 5 - Remaining t3's to all level 5 subs
Missiles involve - Ham and heavy specs at 4 - All missile supports at 5
Does theese two plans make sense for a cruiser centered pilot, or would you take another direction? Battleships do not interest me, and i got little use for capitals as it stands. |

Seems like a good plan to me, as that's pretty much what I always recommend: focus on medium-sized hulls. Cruisers are the largest and most diverse class of ships, and that also buys one a lot of commonality with battlecruisers.
I wouldn't go level 5 on all the T2 ship skills until you've tried them though. You also need support skills (example: a T2 HIC WDFG will cost you the better part of a month, leadership skills for command ships are pretty long and boring). Don't go down paths you might not commit to.

P.S. Interceptors 5 is a must as much as the others T2 ships skills are, but only if you spend time in them.
Don't forget about Strategic Cruisers. (You may have purposely skipped Logistics.)
I allready have logistics 5 trained and i fly them regualrly. But that's a good thought, the ships i fly and enjoy on a regular basis is CS, logi, HAC's and proteus. so i'll poribably just train the other two to 4 until i get a feel for them.
WC and FC isn't something i have a huge need for as i primarly play the field CS's and not the fleet CS's. |
