The Tyrannis "teaser" is a misrepresentation, what does "benevolence" and "ruthless tyranny" have to do with something as abstract as plopping down pins and links?
And what significant part of the Eve economy is there to be switched over? A few things such as 'mechanical parts', 'construction blocks' or additional very minor parts of T2 production?
And all this layered on top of a server system that can't handle lag as it is, sound issues galore, lame weapons fx, and on and on and on........
It seems the more content that is added the thinner all parts of the game become to accomodate the new addition.
I hope I'm wrong, but becoming a "ruthless tyrant" so that I can make my own construction blocks or nanotransistors doesn't motivate me in the least.....

PI will be a key part of the game so they will add to it hopefully, although I wouldn't hold my breath on that. I just know the UI will have irritating elements to it which we can do nothing about. I really wish CCP would implement LUA so the players can do the work for them. Not having even basic control over UI elements is a terrible advert for the game. If there is one thing that will stop this game expanding beyond a certain point it's that. I wish CCP would take the issue more seriously and stop pretending their UI is nothing more than terrible and amateurish.

I think this sums it it up best of all. They obviously had to drop virtually all of what was talked about at FanFest, which is what they wanted to do, and I'm guessing it's because six months wasn't enough time.
I think they should switch over to a new format: one major content expansion with major new gameplay mechanics per year and then one polish and bug-fix expansion per year. That way they'd have a full 12 months of development time on each major expansion and then people would get the bug-fixes and polish that they've been wanting.
