I have been doing pirating, 0.0, wardecs and the like for last 3 years and I thought I'll try get into a bit of anti-piracy. Spread some good and nice vibes around eve, really help some people out (lol). Anyway, I've been finding the presence of pirates edit WITH ANY BALLS WHATSOEVER hard to come by but I found a Russian crew that hangs around raravath... unfortunately (fortunately :P) they wont engage unless they outnumber you 6 to 1 but if you're looking for some kills and know how to bait I would suggest going there around 13:00+ eve time. ALSO - Is there like an anti-pirating channel that reports pirate activities/gatecamps about? Cheers

Make them think you only have one or two ships before you mutilate them with overwhelming force. Then laugh as they complain you blobbed them. The irony of pirates complaining they get ganked is gold.

Seen many pirate corps come and go but atm it's full of them. BYDI, Kangaroos, random ex S****Alliance corps. Tides of War, KOR, Talon Alliance. Almost all are pretty fail (cept Kanga's, awesome fights with those guys). Almost all will have a few awesome pilots that will seek out nice fights though. Talon Alliance is a horrible blob fest but if you are looking to bait, they are chockful of idiots. Also MHC is occasionally filled with some dumbass gate camp. Honestly a anti pirate channel would be nice cept they would get an alt in it and they already usually use like 5 scout alts anyways so.

Cheers Welcome to EVE, it's pretty much expected that people won't engage at even or against the odds. Most people feel the need to require an advantage of some sort, to guarantee a win before attacking.

I got all 6, plus 2 more from a neighbouring system to warp in, including a Typhoon. That's how they roll ♦♦♦♦♦

It is really funny all the people in Eve who think they are so leet yet I haven't seen anything from Duty to make me go "oooh, aahh" and your KB doesn't paint a particularly leet picture either. But hey don't let me get in the road of your massive superiority complex Mr Leet. ToW is inactive at present due to people having too much RL going on. We have tried to get a couple of little gangs together in the past few months but low numbers have meant lots of dual boxing combined with frequent wife aggro = not much getting done. We did get a couple of fun fights from Kangaroo's though they dissapointed us by doing the whole "you guys are just gankers and we don't respect you anymore" after we used a bait BS and 3 BC's to kill 2 BC's and a BS - they had 2 more pilots in system or next door who we expected to turn up. They decided to show us how real men fight and came to visit us in 3 BS's which went well for us - I love it when people get **ed at us, smack us, then come and lose some more ships. That said I quite like Kanga's I'm just a little sick of beating people in what should be a fairly even fight, if they could get all their ships in one place, and then having them smack us for being "just gankers". Ray of Matar did it when we jumped 5 BS's in on their 5 BS's killing 4 for no losses and they then told us that "we are just gankers" and they "don't respect us anymore". We hope to return to activity in a couple of months. I've got a soft spot for anti-piracy as a lot of our fun comes from jumping pirates. Sure we are pirates but I could see why you would want to do it.

Sure we are pirates but I could see why you would want to do it. Didn't know you were all inactive, and who the hell said anything about killboards? Only thing I've seen TOW do lately was attack mission runners with logistic Ishtar + myrm set ups and that's about it. Never seen one of you out doing anything alone. Bringing up KB's is pointless. Duty isn't leet, but you'd think they were by all the times people have run away instead of engaging. KWFL regardless of their sore feelings about losing always give a nice fight, even if you are winning, they make you fight tooth and nail for it if they have any chance. The rest all seem to have there usual drawbacks. Yours just happens to be that you aren't really around anymore :)

We have been based in Placid for a long time, made a ton of isk through piracy and pvp (after losses), and done it without blueing up the other pvp groups. As a bonus we don't behave like prats in local. Doesn't stop you concluding that we are pretty fail because you don't know about us. Your confidence is truly impressive. What are you talking about a logi-Ishtar for mission busting? Our Ishtar fit with RR's is a heavy tackler for BS/BC gangs that can drive off Falcons - it has a MWD. Some of us used to use Myrms for mission busting cause we had a lot of Gallente nubs but nowdays almost everyone can fly the Hurricane (\o/) and anyway we use Vaga's, Arazu and cruisers for missions busting with BS's or BC's only when needed. When you talk of people running off without engaging you for fear of your leetness would you include one of the last times I was on when two of our Hurricanes bumped into your gang while the rest of our gang was trying to get a fight with someone else? We were sure suprised you didn't engage considering your numbers and expected to lose a ship or two but maybe you had seen the rest of our gang earlier and were nervous? Then you got some reinforcements and tried to nab us as we rushed home to log with a couple of people having serious wife aggro. Yeah we were so scared of you guys we had to log. The real shame was that you guys got in a fight with Kanga's and I was on vent pleading for people to stay so we could jump in but they had to go. As for the "you don't solo" crap 1. The Librarian was active solo till recently and 2. I used to solo pirate a heap in Placid and while it was fun I prefer small gang combat - it is an MMO after all. Y'now I actually like flying with other people - wow I'm such a ***.

My one tip is fly a ship many will think easy too kill thus getting more solo engagements. The trick is getting in the position where you can win even in a sub par ship but this you will learn in time. Please re-size your signature to the maximum allowed of 400 x 120 pixels. Zymurgist

Ahahahah. Yes. Though that was better since you didn't use emoticons. I assume this means I'll see you more often in the area and that you won't be docked the whole time? A quick look at your BC KB losses will show the logi ishtar statement to be true. I have no idea why you took so much offense to it, it's not a BAD tactic, it's just over the top for attacking mission runners and haulers.
