just a huge nap fest.
seriously between my alts and and friends alts. almost all of 0.0 is blue to each other.
Hell, some of the guys out there have blue lists longer than my jita spammer blocked list.

Blame the goons. It was their parting gift to eve when they left for noobier pastures. Atm though with fleet fights still being borked it simply makes sense to keep the peace and stockpile isk and materials for when ccp fixes it. Then they can actually have fun using it all up in playable fights instead of like the bad ole days of node deaths when anthing moar complex than a small bubble camp killing a clueless ratter happened.

I vote for a full 0.0 standings reset. I for one would like to see all of 0.0 fighting each other and not the north blob vs the south blob.

It was hardly a "Goons did it first" thing. IIRC, BOB had it's GBC before Goons, and I'm willing to bet there were other coalitions before that.

Sure, nothing happens in 0.0. ever. 
In fact, players in 0.0 rarely fight, you just have to check any 0.0 alliance killboard to see that. They go weeks on end without a single kill. It's just one huge stale blob.

Remove standings system. Even if alliances officially stay friendly, there will be plenty of accidents that will cause war.
Edit: No obviously I am not serious. There is plenty of fighting in nullsec.

part nano nerf which increased epic blobs
part ccp breaking the severs. You will see a giant war if CCP can stop the servers from ****ting themselvs when theres a 200+person fight when they release the next patch. However they will most likely break even more stuff and we wont be able to do 10 on 10s anymore without crashing the node.

you can't defeat human nature. The history of mankind has always been multiple parties banding together to defeat a larger party which in turn becomes one big party. Eventually the single large party breaks apart and the cycle continues, those who study history knows this from the examples of greeks, rome, china, and japan. The formation of current nation states is the effect of these parties joining together. There is no mechanic that can change the fact that more people working together means it's easier to accomplish a goal. There was already an example of this in eve, where the russians formed a giant alliance, the red alliance and eventually broke apart into seperate factions, xxdeathxx, solar fleet, red alliance, and rol. The GBC is now in the second part of this cycle by combining semi-independent groups into one alliance.
The only way a player can have any affect on this, is to create their own party which can rival another, if your too small then form your own coalitions. the reasons for 0.0 being mainly two coalition is because theres not a valiable third. create your own. use the hostility of the north and south to your advantage, if you want space in the north, help the south, if you want part of the south help the north, then betray them to be on your own. All I see is talk but no action, ccp will not give you space, take it yourself.

It's just you. There is plenty of action happening in 0.0, and there's a lot to be a whole lot more in the very near future.
I like it when armchair strategists make threads like these. "I read CAOD and I see all this stuff about NAPs and power-blocs, so obviously 0.0 is full of carebears who all NAP each other and only fight in massive 1000v1000 blobs."

I can confirm that nothing ever happens in 0.0, we just sit here all day mining and stuff liek that. come out and join us, we can fleet up.

I agree, u sit in outposts and POSes doing research until someone your only 99% sure u can kill comes along.. Because if u didnt your K/D efficiency might go down. And we all know only corps with 85% or better K/D efficiency get accepted to 0.0 alliances. Thats why 0.0 players are the biggest puss bags in eve...

I said it was their parting gift not that they did it first. Arguably though the goons did manage to nap up pretty much the enitire nullsec game which is much moar than any other entity ever accomplished. No worries though as it will quickly go back to the normal pew pew if ccp ever figures out the current fleet fight issues.
