nice vid man although 2 lil things i have to say constructive wise
1. put a bit more feel in the voice acting
2. bit more dynamic camera movement and some shakes here n there n stuff

movie is proof of concept, and I'm pretty sure kale didn't even know how to use UDK when he started this so it was all learnt on the way; So yes there are flaws here and there, but really trivial when you think about them and overall I'm really pleased with how this turned out

It was alright. I think it could have used quite a bit more polishing.. it seems actually somewhat rushed. A lot more could have been done with the engine you're using - even provided the eve model's aren't all that great.
Nice concept and PROOF of concept, but I'd have polished it quite a bit more first. (Mainly I'm talking about weapons and explosion effects... really kinda subpar imho). Those huds rocked though!
Rushed is a bit harsh, Kale has had to learn a lot of the plug-ins and other tools he used from scratch and I know for a fact that he has spent many many months on this vid and I for one think it has turned out to be rather excellent. the story, editing and music are all solid and I happen to think it looks fantastic...but some may call me biased
time to cash in my Red Bull shares

The wrecks and effects. CCP can already do formation, but wrecks are just crap atm (except for capitals), as are the effects. Especially since cyno effects got nerfed...

I can safely say that all those hours and what could possibly be genetic-changing amounts of red-bull was well spent!
That was absolutely amazing, exceptional display of talent, imaginative use of software(s) and gave a real feel of a proper movie.
Voice acting and editing was superb as was the editing of the movie itself.
My only objection would be that it wasnt clear exactly why things were happening.
Its nothing big and could very well be contributed to me being hungover. Will watch several times more to make sure. :P
Again, a brilliant peace of work there Kale!

Ok lets give you some ratings now...
Audio/Sound: 8/10 - I did like the voice talk, but what I hated was this trance what so ever tracks. In the middle of the fight. It needs something more epic, like as you see in huge movies all the directors are using something vocal (epic) audio on the background of some action is happening.
Idea: 9/10 - was good, but I didn't understand the end. So it took -1 ball off the ideal movie.
Efects: 10/10 - DAMN! I LIKE IT! Well done, the efects and the grafic side. Amazing!
End rate: 9/10 - good work and everything. But as Eve Online player it is very hard to understand those new efects what you use. And ofc. the idea of frigs and ceptors coming out of Mothership Quote:
[Spoiler: After Hel was cynoed in then the Firetail and some ceptors came out the ship]
. Next time stick to the basics of game mechanics. As also the efects. You can do something good as CCP does with the videos : "Dominion Trailer" , "The Butterfly Effect" ... stick too as the game limits are.
