Originally by: Shaitis both abso and astarte are just slighty better than their T1 coussins. Absolutly not cost effective. Slep is only commandship considered as worth a isk (unless we are talking about gang boosting)
PS. To both punks sh...tchating above. I recommend delete your posts, no added value in those, and you both sound like idiots.
I recommend you not posting about idiots after this post:

have you ever tried to survive in scorp in fleet engagment longer than 1-2 minutes ? I'm talking about FLEET engagment not gank.
lasers will shorten my CAP to 5 minutes of work. If' I'll survive 5 minutes I can always turn it off and continue using my ECM's only.
Cruises are taking to long to hit target even 200 DPS more allow me to focus on ECM's AND same time shoot primary.
Sounds like not only are you in a fail corp/alliance (again), but you don't know how to fly. Perhaps you should take your own advice and go do something useful, like learning how not to fail?
Also, your opinion about the abso not being cost effective vs the prophecy, is delusional to say the least. Perhaps you should add value like, sending your accounts to the trash bin. Would save a lot of people from having to embarrass you, not like you need the help.
Just saying bro...

Wouldn't waste the time to put in the effort to be honest, not exactly one of the better corps. Try keeping your alliance together this time hmm?

HEY GUYS
COST EFFECTIVE IS RELATIVE. WHAT I FIND COST EFFECTIVE YOU MAY NOT.
FOR SOME PAYING 120M EXTRA FOR 40% EXTRA TANK IS A GOOD RETURN.
Also its more cost effective to fight a myrm in your abso and win than to fight it in your harb and loose.
Also, drakes arent amazing solopwnmobiles, and I dont think their underestimated anymore. Their dps is still **** tho, get over it. ******** SIG :O ******** |

Really? Prophecy is the best T1 battlecruiser? Better than the Drake, Harbinger, and Cane?
That's a really unusual position; I'd like to hear your justifications for that if you could.
Imo, Absolution -> Sleipnir -> Nighthawk -> Drake -> Harbinger -> Hurricane -> Astarte -> Myrm -> Brutix -> Cyclone -> Ferox -> Prophecy ________________

TBH putting the abso above the sleip is as bizarre as putting the proph at the top of the tech I BC list.
Actually now that I see the harb listed above the cane I'm guessing it's that you fly amarr and not minmatar, or that you've had some really bad luck flying minni. Though the harb/cane issue is one that's very much open for debate, the sleip vs abso goes to the sleip, period.
Sleip has variable damage, more of it, an awesome tank, and much, much more range than the abso (keep in mind an abso with scorch completely stops doing damage at about 30k, and a sleip with 425s and barrage will be doing more than half its damage at that range) Plus for small gangs (where field CSs shine, along with some solo work) an active shield tank will serve you better than a passive (or active for that matter) armor tank.
Oh and did I mention that ACs track better as well? |

I actually fly both Amarr and Minmatar primarily (I can fly everything but I do Amarr/Minnie way more). But my experience with the Abso and Sleip is almost completely from Sisi and I don't like command ships anyway.
And no, the difference in quality between the Absolution and the Sleipnir is MUCH, MUCH smaller than the difference between the Prophecy and the Harbinger or Drake.
Intelligent people can disagree over whether the Abso or Sleip is superior in general (a meaningless argument anyway), but I still can't see any reason to put the Prophecy over every other Battlecruiser, which is the main reason I posted in the first place ________________
