So, I was in a really cool mining corp that was basically a bunch of new guys(2 months-). We got wardeced by a merc corp, and tried to fend them off for weeks - But they are all very experienced and we just kept loosing ships, and had to resort to staying in our stations. Now, they keep renewing the wardec - So we can't mine, we can't do missions. Because of this I decided to leave the corp(My character is only a month old and can't afford to pvp or ships). However, I was told leaving my corp during a war is against the rules, this is ridiculous sounding but is it true? If it is true, mercs can just stay at war until everyone in the other corp quits the game!? I am confused by why someone would say this, or why ccp would do this.

They're messing with you, just get all your corp buddies to leave corp and make a new one.

You seem to enjoy being in the corp. So let me offer another option. They war dec you because you are a industry corp with only a few members and they get easy kills. The same thing happened with my Corp. We fixed this by joining an alliance. Once they showed some muscle the merc Corp backed down. Being part of an alliance keeps slot of mercs away.

stop doing industry, train pvp skills. and fight to thier are no more ships/mods on the market. Once the market is depleted go back to building ships and charge those same mercs 20mil for each punisher. oh and don't forget i get 99% discount on all purchases.

I've got the same problem with my corp. what you guy could do is just form some kind of a Ghost corp. You guys add each other in address book and do everything together like a real corp. that way you guys can't be wardeced. and there's no rule about quiting a Corp bud.
