Okay I can be in a system camping it for 8 hours, see 2, 3, maybe 5 in ships an hour at best, and the bloody map says 7, 12, 30 jumps in the last hour? Whose CCP pod do I ransom for this bullshit? Seriously? The map is bugged beyond all ******* repair. |

This. Assuming each ship both enters and leaves, that's 2 jumps a ship. And of course, that's assuming you saw every single ship that entered or left the system.

OP does have a point, I often check how many pilots docked and active in map, and it says none, while me and someone else are in the station, map is bugged.

What does "docked and active" even mean?

More than likely there is a several hour delay in the updating of that information. It certainly would not be a live update feed anyways. |

I think he means he checked two different statistics: the docked number, and the active number.

As far as the map's concerned: the other pilots are the unpredictable. It's also good to note that the map doesn't tell you who's in system, or where they are in system beyond docked/undocked. Also, the part of local that tells you who's in system is apparently being worked on to make it less intel-y.

um... i don't think you can jump in EVE. been hitting that spacebar in my CQ and nothing happens. also typing out /dance flourish1 and nothing happens. no one ever tips me, either.
