Price of bond - 100 million each Number of bonds - 80 Interest - 8% per month (paid 2% weekly) Length 1 month (4 weeks) Start date - Upon receipt of all ISK Collateral - None Reports - Minimum of a weekly report Audit - yes, performed by Lord Arbalest Chapter 2 - Purpose of the Rykker Bond #2 This will be my second public bond and the purpose of the this one will be to raise capital to begin contract trading. My previous bond was a success in concept and practice with an approximate 3.6 billion return on a 3 billion bond over one month with interest paid on time and the bond paid back in full. Plans for this bond will be just as straight forward as the last and hopefully as profitable. Funds to be used for the contract trading will be two part. First part will be 8 billion from a public bond and second part will be 7 billion from personal funds. End objective will be to increase daily profits. Public funds will be transferred to my alt 'Valyrien' and will be kept separate from my main which will continue Jita station trading and make further investments in public and private offerings should the opportunities arise. Chapter 3 - Background The last bond has kept me very busy with trading at two separate stations and although the profits were better than I projected I'm now looking for a way to reduce my actual game time while increasing my profits and I believe that contract trading can offer both. I am currently invested in one other bond and will continue to invest if the opportunities arise but funds will be from my Jita trading character in order to keep a barrier between Jita funds and bond funds. I know some may ask why raise public funds when a few more weeks will raise the 8 billion for yourself. My Jita trading has not yet reached it's limits in profit potential and the profits being made are still going back into the market in order to take advantage of certain opportunities that present themselves. Chapter 4 - Business Plan Contract trading. A different type of trading but not a new one for me. I have done contract trading with success in small scale compared to this venture (about 10 billion worth of contracts) so I will not be going into this venture blindly. I have a considerable list of items that I have traded previously in addition to others I believe will be profitable as well. Research for utilizing the bond funds has been going on for some time although I will admit that unlike the last bond where I was expanding on existing trading practices, this bond will be new territory for me in the amount of funds being used. Burned out - always a possibility but the market is still exciting to me and I don't see that changing in the near future. Either of which should not matter even if they do happen as all money can be returned with full interest paid out of my Jita trading funds. Unable to handle or use the increased funds available properly is a possibility; worse case scenario would be that I realise my mistake and like the above cut my losses, repay the bond with interest and move on having gained more information about myself than when I started. I currently station trade with totals averaging 15 billion in buy and sell orders and an average of 100+ orders at any given time. I do not believe the additional 40-50 contract orders this bond will produce will be a problem. Scam. Again, always a possibility. An audit should help minimize this risk by showing that I don't send/receive ISK from scammers, that I have an active trading history and corroborate claims made in this post and in past posts. RL accidents. Should something unfortunate happen I'm sure I'll be able to get a message out to the forums from wherever I end up and even make arrangements to have the funds transferred. Should something even more unfortunate happen where communications are not possible....then you'll have to wait till I come out of my coma or become reincarnated or whatever. Lets face it, if something like that does happen and a message of 'he's in a coma' comes to the forums it's going to have scam written all over it whether it's true or not. The chances of that happening in the next month or two are pretty darn remote. Ganking, wardec. N/A - both my characters will now be at the 'Jita Bar and Grill' drinking Bud's and eating cheeseburgers. Chapter 7 - Exit Strategy If trading does not go as expected then current buy orders will be stopped to mitigate loss and all interest will be paid as if the bond had reached it's completion and all ISK from the bond returned. The bond is pretty much full and if the 700m is not claimed by the remaining previous investors after the audit is posted, I'll be going to the reserve list to fill the bond The official start of the bond will begin when all ISK has been received but like my first bond issue if there is a delay of more than a couple of days any investor who has already sent funds will get a pro rated interest payment from the time they sent to the official start of the bond.

All deposits have been made and the bond is now officially started and the interest schedule has been updated. Investors who have made early deposits will be receiving a pro rated interest payment in the next few hours based on the time they sent their funds. I've been placing contract orders as the deposits have been made and have already been making good progress these last couple of days. Early research into the viability of the operation has helped a great deal. I am hoping to buy and sell 5-10 items per day for the duration of the bond with a preliminary estimate of 150 million per day and 30-45 minutes of keyboard time required after the logistics of the contract operation have been smoothed out.

Gains have been close to initial expectations current NAV of 15.99 billion (less 15 billion for bond) = 0.99 billion total profit and a daily profit of 141 million over the first week Total number of contract items sold this week was 75 Average time spent at the keyboard was about 1-2 hours the first couple of days while I got some spreadsheets in order to help with the logistics. The spreadsheets have been a tremendous help and has reduced my time needed to about 30 minutes per day. This NAV comes with a side note as I lost on one trade roughly 300m due to my own fault with typing. And while the person who profited from this was nice enough to mail me giving thanks I don't plan on repeating the mistake Price of doing business in high volume, hopefully I'll recoup the loss with finding a great deal myself before too long Regards - Rykker

I'm not exactly spending a lot of time attempting to maximize my profits, rather going for minimal time needed to keep it going. Time spent at the keyboard has been reduced further to about 20 minutes average per day - about 15 minutes per day on trades then a 30 minute review and update of my spreadsheet to make sure the items I'm trading in are current. All in all a successful venture so far with the earnings to time needed a good ratio imo, I will definitely keep it going with personal funds once the bond has completed.

An 8 billion public bond is no small undertaking and I'm glad I've earned your trust. My initial estimate of a total profit of 4.2 billion fell a little short at 3.08 billion but I still consider this venture a success. First week of the venture was on track with initial profit estimates but the end goal plan had changed slightly in the second week as the relatively passive nature of the earnings was becoming apparent. The last two and a half weeks was spent in gathering information in order to reduce keyboard time and still retain healthy profits. The final weeks held an average of 20 minutes per day with updating orders taking 15 minutes and about 20-30 minutes at the end of the weak on spreadsheets and doing a thorough check on contracts. At 3.08 billion in profits this equates to 330 million per hour at the keyboard or 110 million per 20 minute day. For those who were following Valyrien's and his corporation's contracts, you have a detailed list of what I was trading. For those who missed it, it should come as no surprise that most of the items traded in were faction ships. Those accounted for over half of the profits. Other contracts included various shield/armor mods and the occasional random item to see how it would sell. For now my plans are to buy some seriously expensive toys and try new things in Eve. I'll keep Rykker going in Jita doing his station trading to keep me in ISK and will revisit the contract trading in the near future. I don't have any plans for public bonds for the next few weeks but with some new toys I'm sure I can put a serious dent in my wallet so who know what next months will bring. Ok, now to the 4 month long trading binge. I started station trading in Jita on Jan 9th. Over these last 15 weeks I've managed to turn 100 million into 50 billion. About 40 billion has come from Jita, 6 billion from public bond ventures and the remaining from miscellaneous small trading and investing ventures. Average keyboard time for the last 15 weeks has been about 3 hours spread out over the course of the day although I've since reduced the hours significantly so I can do other things in Eve which accounts for the decrease in profits this last month. Profits from Jita should still average 400-500 million per day. It's been an intense experience and I'm damn glad to have found this game. ò 1/9 NAV 100 million - flew to Jita for the first time and started trading ò 2/27 NAV 9 billion (per audit) - station trading in Jita and started station trading Amarr bond ò 4/3 NAV 30 billion (per audit) - station trading in Jita and started a contract trading bond ò 5/1 NAV 50 billion - not audited, profits lower but consistent with last month Regards - Rykker
