Step 3 : Fit out the cookie cutter Dramiel that is FOTM right now
Step 4 : Enjoy your vastly superior frig!

Wow. Asshats. Seriously let's reply to every frig thread by citing a game breaking *** boat. On a more constructive note, the chap who said Jaguar was probably right. With the build you have the Jag will do a better job. However, as with the Dram, good targets (tarani in particular) will probably avoid you so the firetail is a viable choice. Stick a nos on it some how and you can probably engage some cruisers too.
Personal preference is for a plate rifter with full tackle and cap booster variant. Works not bad as it's neut resistant. Cool ship. Looks awesome too.

I got a Firetail on the cheap and it really is hard to fit in a way that produces respectable performance. I'll likely sell it.

On a side note: The Firetail has almost identical fitting and stats as the Dramiel. You can fit the same mods and get very similar performance with regard to speed. I think the damage and tracking bonuses are different but not much.
Biggest difference is the dronebay. Firetail has none.
I've flown the Firetail many times in combat and it just can't compete with either T2 or other faction frigs.
I still have one. It makes a pretty good shuttle.
