Yesterday night a Minmatar plot to outfit slaves for a rebellion deep within the imperial heartlands was uncovered and foiled.
A convoy with a load of 'frozen food' and 'antibiotics' was stopped by a Praetorian taskforce in Tash-Murkon.
As sensor readings of the cargo were grabled and incoherent the imperial cruiser Pilum demanded to send a boarding crew aboard for further investigation. This was denied by the leader of the Minmatar convoy, who pointed out that he was on a humanitarian mission to a mining colony recently destroyed by the impact of a meteorite that allowed for no delay.

Further attempts to solve the situation in a peacefull manner proved fruitless, as the commander of named convoy refused to jettison part of his cargo. Fire was opened and a smaller Hawker was destroyed. As indicated by imperial intell the cargo of the destroyed vessel consisted of Railguns destined to outfit an extremist Minmatar splinter cell believed to be operating in the Tash-Murkon region.
All of the ships of the convoy were destroyed and the crew executed on the spot. A total of 102k rounds of small and medium ammunition and over 150 Railguns were seized or destoyed.

This was only the first strike in a series of sorties to hit Minmatar terrorists within the Empire - weapons smuggle will not be tolerated. We hope that free pilots thinking about earning 'easy cash' by dealing with shady Minmatar individuals will see this as a warning.

I am not sure if Phased Plasma rounds and Railguns can be called relief goods exactly. Your attempt to cover this blatant attempt to harm the Empire will apparently not succeed.

The seized goods alone are evidence enough - what kind of facts can you provide? Nothing. You come empty-handed and want to make people believe a ridicolous story without any kind of proof for it. Try harder next time if you want to put the Guard into discredit.

Post scriptum: Refrain from coming up with the 'manipulated sensordata' and 'faked evidence' arguments. It has grown a beard over time - every time you Minmatars are caught with your pants down we get to hear the same old stories over and over.

Only the crewmembers of the offending convoy vessels were put to a fiery death in space. Your propaganda is hillarious.

The 'arguments' raised here were expected as indicated in the post scriptum. The ammunition and the railguns speak their own language. Please note that the ammount of goods confiscated and destroyed was far to big to be carried by the Praetorian ships involved in this operation. Feel free to request the sensor logs of nearby stations from Concorde or the local authorities. These Minmatars were caught with their pants down and there is nothing you could do to cover it up - the truth is on our side.

Sidenote:As a defense force of the Empire and the Emperor we will not watch rebellious scum deliver weapons to terrorists under our noses on *any* day. If those smugglers thought so they must have been even dumber than I imagined.

Without commenting it I want to quote one of my Decurios:

'...I would only add the reminder of one of the Spartan 300 holding the pass at Thermopylae in 480 BC against the vast Persian army. When he was told that the number of arrows alone the Persian army fired would darken the sun he simply replied.......

" Good, we will fight in the shade then "'

I am proud to command men like this.
