Hello
What happens when your own corporation standing gets below -5.0 with one of the 4 big factions? My personal standing is not below -5.0 with Amarr. Our corp standing is getting close to -5.0.
And
Is it a bug that diplomacy is not calculated into the corporation standing towards a faction?

Nothing.

No, that's entirely by design. The corporation doesn't have skills, you do. Corps only inherit your base standings. ---

Rather than making a new thread I thought I'd ask here.
I was wondering about how often your Corporation's standings update, based on its members' improving their standings over time themselves. I know with a new Corp it inherits an average of standings after 7 days, but presumably this continues in some way? Thanks for any info. :)

The seven day rule does not apply only to new corps, but to all. As Horchan said, every DT the standing will be calculated with the standing (if any) of all players longer in the corp than seven days.

Back again with another question, sorry!
I thought I read somewhere that your Corporation's standings towards NPC Corps didn't take into account a member's standings if they were "neutral".
I only have 3 members in my Corporation at the moment. Checking out 'show composition' for one NPC Corp, it lists all 3 members in the window. Two have high standings, and the third has Neutral (0.0) or however it's written. Doing the calculation myself, I can see the game is averaging from all 3 people, even though the third is 0.0.
On another NPC Corp composition, only one person has *any* standing at all with said Corp (the other 2 members aren't even listen in composition window), and our Corporation is correctly showing this single member's standing as the Corp's standing. Hopefully this is making some sense.. !
So I guess my question is, why is the person with Neutral standing of 0.0 from the first example above being included in the average? I presumed, maybe incorrectly, that if they were "Neutral" as opposed to "Decent", "Fair", "Awful" etc, it didn't include them. Is it a case of it it not being 0.0 but actually 0.00001 or something crazy? Or is it simply that, as soon as they are even listed on the composition window, even if it's 0.0, they still get included in averages? Just interested in a better understanding. All 3 members are older than 7 days.
Thanks for any help :)

If that guy has, say, 0.004 standings, or even -0.004 standings, he'd show up as having 0.00 but still be counted. That could easily happen for, say, either failing a L1 mission or double-rejecting some mission then running a couple of missions of their own.
Only people that never standings-interacted in any way, shape nor form have "perfect zero" standings, once any transaction happens, even if you get back close to 0.00, you're never quite there.

Ah, fair enough. It's one of the things I did wonder. Thanks for the reply Akita.

Wont they be able to see their standings if they train Connections or Diplomacy?

They should be able to see it in their own character sheet if they train the relevant social skills (never hurts to have all three to at least L1)... but YOU won't see it if you showinfo them unless they go more than 0.05 (or thereabouts) away from perfect zero (you always see base standings there). Or, well, if they join the corp and you do a show compositions, then you can also see it.
