I'm looking to get item volume (like the volume results seen in the game's price history graphs) , preferably sc****d from cache. I'm not sure if libevecache, or any other utility/API/etc can do this. The old 'get results by eye and record by hand' is what I want to avoid.
Can this be done? If so, what is the easiest way to do it? I will be combining the results with some libevecache buy/sell order information in order to filter results by volume. Basically, to automatically exclude extremely low volume items from my analysis of market prices.

I've never used reverence before. Nowhere in that thread is "volume" mentioned. I take it that it includes that?

It is the same as libEveCache, if I understand it right, so, everything included in a cache file is available to you. In other words, the answer is, likely, "yes". --sig--

I don't even know how to use libevecache to get historical (or daily) volume data. Buy/sell order price data, yes. Volume, no. It can do volume?
I'm sorry, I'm very new at using third party utilities (especially cache readers). Used to writing my own small programs (Fortran, python) or spreadsheets.
Thanks to anyone who can help with specific info on how to get volume data.

It doesn't get more specific than the simple step by step instructions I linked and which you apparently did not read.

Be as snarky as you want, but as I mentioned I haven't used reverence before and nowhere does it mention volume in that thread, nor on its git repo frontpage. Your reply which contained one link and no text isn't exactly telepathy in action and I find that most advice on eve-o is pretty terrible so I asked for confirmation about the volume info.

Have it your way. From the sound of it you probably get the advice you deserve.
