prob something at the time should have made a dedicated post for but anyway ...
Some time ago I was roaming low sec in a rifter and came across a 3 week old vexor pilot.
Me in a Rifter hunting a baby vexor. I was drooling incessantly for the 1-2 hours I spent trying to catch the lil' bastard as he managed to hop around escaping my lock in a cluster of about 3 system or so.
In general for low sec I go by the policy that anything that moves is a target
though as time go by since last kill sometimes the more stupid the targets become as patience goes out the window

See that's fine, one because they've already paid for their first month (most likely) and two because they're in Low-Sec, where noobs shouldn't be travelling if they don't want to get blowed up. But randomly ganking noobs in hi-sec is just mean...

Since when is "crap" a word worth self-censoring? Hilarious  It's not like it's **** or butt**** or anything. (See? It doesn't even censor "butt")
Anyways, when I was an even greener noob than now, I thought it was a good idea to venture into lowsec in a destroyer fitted for exploration, park right over the sun in the middle of some system and scan down stuff. I got blown up of course, and I wasn't crying over it, because Eve is a game with a reputation that everyone should know by now.
Now, if someone went and blew me up while doing the tutorial missions in what seemed like a fairly secure 1.0 rookie system, I would have been a bit more irritated. Eve is a game pretty hard to get into, and PVP really doesn't help when you're trying to master the interface etc. Fighting other players is not something you can do when you're still fighting the UI instead of playing the game.
So yeah, I can fully see noobs not extending their trial period if they get griefed too much.
