I recently bought 2 PLEX from the EVE website. I am wondering how they will be delivered to me and what more I have to do before contracting/selling them.
Since I bought the PLEX from the account management screen, will they be delivered as time codes or what? How long will it take for my order to be processed?
Thanks!

Since you already bought it, you should already know that there is a 1 hour processing delay. After that, if you are currently logged in, log off first. Log into the character you want to redeem the PLEX, press ESC, and click Redeem Items.

Edited by: SupaKudoRio on 09/04/2010 01:31:35 I believe you can access your PLEX immediately by logging in. When in game, press Esc. There should be a Redeem button at the bottom of the window.
When you redeem PLEX, they appear in your items hangar for you to either use (apply the game time) or sell on the market.
I've never bought PLEX myself and might be wrong, but have a look. _____

You can get the plexes from the character selection screen too, just select the character you want the plexes to go to and make sure you are in an npc station. You get them from the redeem items button at the selection screen. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. Remember plexes can't be moved after they're redeemed. So you may want to move them to a tradehub if you plan on selling them (which I'm guessing you are) as a lot of people don't realize they can be activated from the assets window.

Just a little tip here:
Since, as was mentioned above, a lot of people don't know that you can redeem a plex from anywhere in the galaxy, you can sometimes sell your plexes for more ISK in out of the way places. I suggest doing a little research and finding a place where the going value is higher than, say, Jita standard and redeem them there and sell them. Now, this usually takes a little time to sell, as there is never as much volume in places off the beaten path, but you can get a few more ISK this way if you are willing to take the time. --------------------------------------------

Actually you can't the option as usual for CCP doesn't work and petition is still unanswered by the GM's So if you redeem your plex it stays in the station you currently reside, end of story and no amount of unredeeming moves it away from the station.

By redeem I meant apply to your account... You do not have to be in the same station as the plex to use it, you can use it from your assets. --------------------------------------------

PLEX are in-game items, and can only be used by active accounts to add more time to said account. GTC are out of game codes that can be applied to any account, active or inactive, or it can be turned into PLEX through the "Convert ETC" button on the ESC menu in-game. ---
