Hi all marketeers out there.
I have been working on a small website for a little time though I have not been spending too much time on it lately - you can certainly see this from the bugs that might be there and the... well, lack of a decent interface. But anyhow it does what it is supposed to do:
* show your profit on normal market trade orders
No more and no less than that (currently). There are a ton of improvements to be done but by time I hope this will come. This is the first alpha development that I dare to make public.
Webpage: http://EVE-Trader.com
If you know any other website which does this exact thing then please let me know as I have been looking for it for some time but never been able to find one that actually shows the profit over time. Do note that this profit calculation should be taken with a raisen eyebrow as it cannot calculate the profit on the stuff you put on or get from contracts - so this could give a wrong result if you from time to time deal in contracts, but in the big picture it should work fine.
I have been running with this since the start of 2009 and it is a real fun to follow the profit raise (or fall) :-)
Since this is directly related to the market transactions this requires your full API key. Please rest assured that I by time hope to earn your trust that neighter the API key nor the results from the gathered data will be used for personal interrest! Not easy to gain trust in EVE but as I said... I hope I by time can earn that trust. Or else please do change the API key if you test out this and don't like or or don't trust it.
Hope to see you at EVE-Trader.com some day.

Edited by: Mazaron on 11/04/2010 10:51:17 EVE Commander does this.
EDIT: But it does cost ISK after the first month trial.

I suggest that you also post a short note over at the Market Discussion forum. That's where all the traders hang out. At lot of them are non-techies, so they seldom visit the Tech Lab. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

Good idea - I will do that, thx.
And just a quick comment to Mazaron - as you also mention then EVE Commander costs ISK but my service is free of charge.

For example, EVE Trade Master does. Its also a hosted, web based solution such as yours. Free as well.

OK, I haven't seen this one though the name is close :-) For me it doesn't look like it can show the profit on individual sell orders or am I mistaken? It looks like it can do some profit calculation on minerals and Jita prices and though this is very useful it is not the same as my site does - but please correct me if I am wrong as I only speaks from the screenshots I can see on their page.

It can show you profits for each of your market orders based on minerals, eve-central prices, or buy/sell transaction prices. It does not show profits for individual transactions, correct. I guess its working a bit differently from EVE Trader, while trying to accomplish the same. But its always nice to have options. Your efforts with this project will certainly be appreciated by the community.
