Giant secure container = 3900m3
Unsecure container = 27500m3
Using my Arma and 7 x Miner IIs I can fill an unsecure can in 45 mins.
I'm not complaining or anything I just think these secure cans are of very little use anymore especially now mining barges are in and can hold 4000m3 in cargo hold.
The secure cans need to be 3x the capacity IMO.

The point is that you either go for security (nobody can possibly steal your ore) for solo mining in a small ship or something, or you go for jet-can mining, which works really well in large groups. Nobody is going to mess with you by stealing your ore if you have two battleships with you in low sec.

The point is that you either go for security (nobody can possibly steal your ore) for solo mining in a small ship or something, or you go for jet-can mining, which works really well in large groups. Nobody is going to mess with you by stealing your ore if you have two battleships with you in low sec.

I've never bothered with them personally as I would need too many to hold the ore. But if they were bigger then I prolly would use em.
