Dear CAOD Reader,
I had not intended to poast aboot the controversial and largely irrelevant subject of Alcatraz Inc's 6 'th Anniversary. I want you to know that I have a recently just got out of CAOD Jail and do not shun controvery. On the contrary, I will take a stand on any issue at any time, regardless of how likely CAOD +b might be. Many of you over the years have asked me how I feel aboot Drinking and PVP. All right, here is how I feel aboot Drinking and PVP.
If when you say Drinking and PVP you mean the One Shot One Kill Club, the Denpo poison scourge, the Duffman offends Mara defiling of innocence, Dr Finishers dethroned reason or Balta, Yakoff and Lamoors low participation CTA rants that destroy mining ops, create misery and poverty, yea, litterally taking the resources from the hangers of little pod pilot children; if you mean the evil TS drinking PVP games that topple Carebear man and woman from the pinnacle of righteous, tax free mining and ratting into the bottomless pit of subservience to a FC, degrading gate camps, shamful and helpless pilots who logged in late and get podded while limping to catch up with the fleet...then yea; I am against it.
But:
If when you say Drinking and PVP you mean the oil of TS conversation, the philosophical whiskey shot of hope for the future, the tapping of ale to monitors when good fellows get together putting slurred war songs in their hearts and laughter on their push to talk lips and the warm glow of insured tech 1 contentment in their eyes. If you mean the drinking engagements that put spring in an old gentlemans warp drive in an all red local or the sauce that enables a man to magnify the joy of podding his enemy, enhance his online happiness and to forget, if only for a short while, real lifes great tragedies, heartaches and sorrows. If that is what you mean then I am certainly for it.
Having said that and moving forward....
On April 25, Alcatraz Inc will be celebrating our 6'th Birthday and getting hammered on TNT teamspeak. Congrats on keeping it together for all these years and bigtime kudos for the leadership who continually find ways to adapt and survive in our ever changing Eveverse.
