I was happily ratting in my early days in my noobfit Hyperion when I got blasted by Lol Internets & Monkey... As I was keeping my eyes open for local activity i am absolutely 100% sure these guys did not shop up in local up until the point that they agressed me
I petitioned it expaining I had only myself in local but CCP told me the logs did not show anything..
Hmm, if their logs showed nothing then, one wonders if they show anything nowadays (relating to new kills, or this one). Signature locked for discussing moderation. Navigator

Originally by: Bad Kroxa I wonder! Why did the monkey ceased to kill? I think the answer is obvious! He used the exploit.
Maybe it was to fuel the macro-whiners whines.
It amuses me that someone using an exploit is a far bigger issue than the hundreds of people complaining that their macro got killed [assuming someone was actually using an exploit].
Then again, banning 1 person is far less of a financial hit than banning the real culprits. Signature locked for discussing moderation. Navigator

Looks to me, I was right - presence in local chat is not logged, untill you say something,
That would be a bizarre situation. Your client knows others are there regardless of whether or not they're speaking in local. Their client knows you're there (under normal circumstances, of course), yet this info isn't logged anywhere? Very strange. Signature locked for discussing moderation. Navigator

I am not going to describe required steps, but i guess after CCP closes this hole, i will be free to tell in detail about the whole process. Hope it will remove any suspicions ~
