I'm sorry, while its perfectly possible to do, it's quite the feat to achieve at the drop of a hat, but very doable for a group who are already doing a lot of the ground work because they've been writing Bots to achieve desired effects in the game.
This isn't me jumping on the 'lets call russians botters' bandwagon, it's just me being surprised about how casual you've become about it all. Seems rather strange that you're playing the white-knight card when infact you're actually no better.
oh, i see. now the problem is - we reproduced monkey-space-magic TOO FAST.

He's apparently been kicked out already û that's as clear an answer as you'll ever going to get, seeing as how they don't discuss bugs or exploits openly.

Finally, something a little more concrete. TY for doing this.
I think it's time CCP told us their stance on this.
Naaa, I rather think it's time for monkey to prove he is in fact using superior "strategies". CCP will catch onto this issue as soon as the volcanic ashes clear from their monitors...
f..k yeah! SUDDENLY, he didn't kill a shuttle using his great technique since threadnout at eve-ru started. pretty sure that's just a coincidence, yeah.

oh, thx, man. the problem is that i don't really wanna tell that genius tcp/ip coder about how exactly the exploit can be recreated. but he (and maybe you) got me: it really takes weeks and YEARS to push a button to create a pf rule using wireshark (he really used it, didn't he?)

monkey performs a perfect logon trap and kills a macroratter

Keep your FRAPS running and when names show up in local, warp to a SS. If you make it they're just raiders. If something miraculously appears at your SS within seconds and blows the ship... you have your proof.

yes. the winning strike proves nothing, same to timeline. i don't care will monkey be banned or not: "server logs shows nothing". but if there is a way to cheat - i'd like it to be fixed as soon as possible. and if there is a guy who wins a lottery 10 times in a row - i'm pretty sure there is way to cheat.
that is why the investigation at eve-ru started.

This is the tactic used to catch macros and players that log off when a hostile enters local. Of course he also gets kills against inattentive players and macros that warp to safespots (which use a different tactic to catch). It takes about 3-4 minutes to set up in the worst case scenario (when probing is required to find the belt the target was in).
so... are you ready to catch me in 4 minutes using this supertechnique?
terms:
i'm at random belt, ratting u are at the belt next system u set up your perfect logon trap to catch me - like u appear from nothere.
i will be waiting you 18-00 eve time at sisi if you are ready. if not... well, it's just fine.

I'm not going to agree to some kind of strawman competition to catch someone who knows I'm coming and who I've already shown a video of my tactic to. Unless of course you want to make it interesting by doing it on TQ. Then I'd consider it.
i have only 1 character who flys bs, unfortunately it's high-sec agentrunner (completely neutral to all zero-sec camps) and it is hard to get a bs at 0.0 for him. is the has ok? let's do it on tq.
i still don't get what is wrong with the fact i've seen your super-tactics - all i have to do is to log off then u 1st enter the local, wait until you log off, logon once again and wait you appering like a cheshire cat, right?
4 minutes - and if you can do it w/o even knowing a belt - i will do my best to persuade those monkey victims that monkeys are awesome. just think about it.

obviously the character was controlled by the player, isn't it? still, it took 10min to get his ship (and pod!) down after monkey got this "macrofarmer" - http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=6363593.

Your links prove absolutely NOTHING, in fact they show that the tengu really did have a ratting setup easely usable for a bot. Whether or not the pilot was using a macro or not is impossible to determine just by looking at the killmail. Therefore any reasoning or points you base on these assumptions are flawed.
someone here really should think for a moment - how could a bot kill an extra-class pvper's curse? did you see a link?
Quote:
In addition I have to comment that the terms with which you wanted to do the testing of the "technique" with raivi where vaguely outlined and not really constructive. The fact that the exploit has been proven does not necessarily connect it with monkey, therefore the connection is purely speculation. The way you where laying out the demonstration would have been a lose-lose situation for raivi. Either he would have failed to catch you because you didn't behave like a bot thus you'd claim victory and still have proven nothing, or he would had caught you and you could still claim he's using the exploit since he won't explain what he did. The end result would have been... nothing.
not exactly. if he can recreate a situation described in 1st post - i really will be convinced monkey is not a magician - and i will do my best to persuade others . right now i'm pretty sure monkey is a magic monkey. and once again: yes, neither winning streak nor timeline proves monkey is a cheater - there still is a chance he could win the lottery 1000 times in a row.
and still - "no local" exploit exists and should be fixed.
Quote:
What disturbs me is the fact that raivi is one of the few posters from PL that have actually attempted to give some content to this thread rather than the usual trolling and bovine-extrement posts by indicating the unconfirmed existence of ways to acchieve similar results without circumventing the game mechanics. Instead of being welcomed open-arms he is instead greeted with spite and accusations related to him being biased etc.
Therefore Raivi I will gladly take your invitation for the demostrations on TQ of your techniques, with decently fitted BS's on my side if you are still up for it. The location and time to be arranged, and with the following conditions:
1. A trusted third party acceptable by both parties will be informed in full detail of the techniques used. This is the only way that I have to be certain that what you say is true without you having to explain your techniques thus loosing the advantage. It's not that I don't trust your word... I simply don't trust anyone I don't know on their word.
2. I will behave like a bot in 3 scenarios to be defined more in detail before we begin the demonstration.
3. Whatever kills and loot you get is yours... I'll probably trow some faction loot on the ships just to make it worth while and give further incentive to kill me.
4. All information that could lead to revealing the legit techniques adopted will be omitted from public unless you chose otherwise.
5. ???
6. Profit!
Does this roughly outlined scenario sound acceptable to you?
i'm fine with it. actually i don't care about his super-duper technique - if it exists, it still useless against player. so it is enough if there will be witness that he logged off - and not using "no-local" exploit, there's no need in details at all.
i have to go now, but i really want this "3-4min at worst case scenario" test done and frapsed. hope it will, heh.

Originally by: Raivi I find it very funny that the people from eve-ru seem to think that I can't read what they say about me if they do it in Russian on a different website. The fact that whatever phrase they're using in Russian get translated as "the pretty boy of the square" by google makes me laugh as well. Sorry my soviet brothers, but I'm not going to get baited by a plan you hatch on a public forum that you expect me not to read.
Glad to see that CCP is on this. Hopefully they'll have a hotfix soon. If any devs or GMs involved in the investigation are interested in a detailed explanation on how to do the logon trap right just give me a shout and I'll cooperate fully.
so, what do we have here...
1. we know some monkeys can kill 4 ratters in 4 different systems in 20 minutes. 2. we don't know a super simple logon trap technique that allows to set up a perfect logon trap in 4 minutes - "worst case scenario", heh? 3. we know there is "no-local-i-am-a-monkey" exploit. 4. we know about Occam's razor - Non sunt entia multiplicanda praeter necessitatem.
so, some pretty guy claims he knows a perfect logon trap technique. Great, i say - show me how you can catch me in 4 minutes ("worst case scenario", yeah?) w/o even knowing the exact belt in the system.
some pretty guy from pl ignored.
i repeat an ask for the test, and another guy from this thread proposed himself for that test too. i don't even want to know about detail of this super-secret technique, i say, just show me - you can do that, right? right?
some pretty guy from pl ignored.
so, i ask on eve-ru for some help - let's ask that pretty guy from pl to test his great technique - just because i suppose there is more than 1 monkey in pathetic legion.
and know what? some pretty guy from pl really did notice that! "IT'S A TRAP!" - he cryes and run to eve-o.
so. the secret technique that allows to set up 4 successful logon traps in 20 minutes obviously exists, that's just my fault Raivi don't want to test it ONCE.
just one another coincedence. right?
PS just to make it clear. "красавчик из пл" = "some pretty guy from pl". we usually use "красавчик" about someone who pretends to be awesome. not offensive. and for google translator:
