Never worked with these guys, never fought with them, but they do seem to have a reputation for being able to ruin somebody's day. The Skunkworks is recruiting. -áhttps://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1540711#post1540711 |

These dudes are fun. We go places and shoot things. For the right money, we'll shoot the right things. The Skunkworks is recruiting. -áhttps://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1540711#post1540711 |

I came expecting a fight from Marmite. I left unimpressed. Even when Marmite had Prons thoroughly outgunned and out logi'd they docked in station and logged off.
I only had two encounters with PRON in the past week. The first was a fleet fight that went nowhere: some shots were exchanged but no one could apply the DPS to break neutral logi tanks before someone docked up. The second was one of your guys being obvious bait trying to engage my Loki with a Rupture on the undock. When I called him on it, he didn't bother trying to grab me when I undocked again.
Before you chestbeat too loudly, I spent quite a bit of time in places besides the Uedama undock rings and never saw any of you. It seems you guys were satisfied to sit in station and wait for us to come to you. I got more excitement from a war with Kicking Smurfs, who actively hunted me several times. I was free to hunt and execute our merc contracts without any interference.
I won't argue your effectiveness--you killed ****, we didn't--but let's remember that you're boasting about fighting on a highsec station with invincible logi at your back. That's a rather specific skill set, so I wouldn't go so far as to suggest (as some of your mates have) that Marmite pilots are incompetent because we didn't play that game as well as you.
I also *heard* that some of your guys might have pulled an in-space corp change before a fight. If so, that's a rules violation and has been for a very long time. If not... v0v, the battlefield can be confusing sometimes. The Skunkworks is recruiting. -áhttps://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1540711#post1540711 |

Tomaso Yoshitome wrote:Ah, hypocrisy, how delightful. I've never seen Marmite without their logistics. Funny, because I'm never seen with it--barring fleet ops.
Tomaso Yoshitome wrote:How nice for you that you were able to pursue your mercenary contracts - whenever I've been logged on, i've seen perhaps 5 Marmite pilots online, along with about 6 of their neutral alts. Locators and scouts generally found you AFK docked. I'm not my entire alliance. I'd be quite surprised if you found me afk docked, as rarely as I do such a thing. I dislike stations. They make me easy to find when I don't care to be found.
Tomaso Yoshitome wrote:Incidentally, i've taken the liberty of sending that previous brief list of alts (along with my own personal list) to every single one of your current war targets. That won't impact me at all :) The Skunkworks is recruiting. -áhttps://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1540711#post1540711 |
