I love Deadspace, crawling 100km to your objective at 150ms while popping annoying rats and sentries is just great fun.
Yay.... ---------------------------

CCP has stated it will all goto deadspace due to it being 2 different kill mission systems that are currently active. It will become much easier for them to do tech support and help bugs if it only has 1 system and it prolly helps with serverload in some way.
They also said it will not take away long range combat ( and I agree... because I myself have easily dont long range dead space missions before they were taken out ) and actually most of the missions started u off 100km away from the rats... so how long range do you want? 50km is fine enough for me... -Nirat

Why remove content? Leave the old missions as they were and just add in new missions. I have two setups, one for deadspace and one for regular space. Keep in the variety. ------------------------------------So many skills, so little time... |

It seems to me with CCP that they do a lot of quick fixing and tweaking where what is actually needed is a properly thought out plan. Personally I would prefer to put up with things a bit longer if there is going to be a better solution a little further down the line. With the advent of some of the patches it's almost as if CCP have introduced more bugs than they've fixed.
The deadspace missions can be boring, especially when you end up doing the same mission 3 times in the same morning. Also there are still bugs with warp-in points that need addressing.
I'd also like some kind of reply from CCP about what the score is with the introduction of deadspace missions like the Sangrel Minn mission involving hoards of drones. It's ok if you have a BS or something big enough to tank them, but it's nigh on impossible to do in a cruiser (unless you've got a lot of combat experience under your belt, in which case you'd probably normaly be doing lvl 3 missions anyway).
Anyway enough ranting and raving from me, as there's tons of post like this already in these forums and I've still not heard a decent response from CCP on the subject anyway. ----------------------------------------------------- Member of STK Scientific [STK-S]. Seems like Exodus was pushed before its scheduled launch (albeit delayed) because of the World of Warcraft release - an attempt to keep subscribers. Sure new eye candy will do that, but with the advent of ridiculous game play changes, CCP has aptly dubbed its expansion 'EXODUS', as that is what's happening and will continue to happen unless they repair this game.
The customer is always right. Stop making radical changes that the community does not agree with. None of us want to pay for this continuous beta test.

Deadspace is the ULTIMATE nause.
Why bother ffs? to make it 'harder' I hear... more like to make it take LONGER.
The idea is good, small pirate bases, spy radar relays... but the deadspace is just ANNOYING.

With the current difficulty of deadspace mission and their current rewards, no one is going to work for agents.
You can get 1-3 millions during 1-2 hours with a single deadspace mission and you can lose 120million plus your fitting value in 30 seconds.
Bad Reward Bad Bonus Reward Bad loot from NPC
I can see 3 bad points, but can not see any good points right now. My mother told me once, if I can find 3 things I do not like of my girlfriend, I'm not in love with her.
Maybe they will change how deadspace missions are to make them worth our time, but I have learnt a good lesson today. If I cancel a deaspace mission I get normal missions I can accept and actually gain something. |

It was also stated that we could refuse a mission, but this doesn't seem true: the agent keeps giving the same mission over and over, and you can't refuse two missions in a row.

There is no need for deadspace at all.
They have already got in these missions the answer to kiting, its those pesky ships that move at a gazillion miles an hour and web you. I seriously doubt even if you could use MWD whether you would outrun these things.
You can't hit them with normal turrets hardly at all, I know I tried with small blasters and tracking mods its like trying to hit a fly with a sledgehammer, its insane. I used a maller for about 30 mins with one of these interceptors needling me and I am not a noob.
Did I mention this was a level 3 mission but I have seen level 2 missions with the same drones/rats.

Forgot to mention.
If all missions are going to be in deadspace then CCP are making ships without missile hardpoints and drone bays useless. I even supsect that due to the reduction in missile costs, missiles are soon to become less effective.
The RISK vs reward for these missions is just not worth it and we will all go back to belt hunting or picking on complexes that aren't in deadspace.
If you make everything deadspace people will leave as mining will be the only decent choice left and even that will fade as less people need minerals to make items.

Deadspace is frankly...very boring...
As everyone says, it takes a helluva long time, rats don't drop cans (those who actually do...drop basic items)
Not to mention it takes forever to get to any cans.
I've now been offered the 5th deadspace in a row, and they like to repeat themselves. (I just did the exact same mission.)...and somehow I do not want to rescue the damsel lvl 4...still agent likes to offer the same missions over and over again...
...and with the light all life vanished... |
