The worst part is that now the client doesn't realize it's disconnected.
For example, I'll warp to an anomaly and get disconnected mid warp... but the client thinks I've warped to an empty spot in space. The warp completes and I'm like wtf where are the rats. Start activating modules and they cycle but nothing happens, and try to warp to something but nothing happens.
This lasts for a good 5 minutes before the client finally realizes the connection is dead
Anyone else getting this?

Obviously my computer rewrote the code to disregard disconnects. My bad

Correlation != causation. You're stating that CCP broke the game for you, and then you ask if anyone else experienced a problem. Perhaps they're annoyed at how you're jumping to conclusions here?
Listen here! Introducing logic to this problem will not help anyone. Let's all try some constructive CCP bashing so we can HELP this poor bastard, not educate him!

Wow, my computer is in a time-warp, then, because it's been doing that for weeks. I get it every once in a while, most often in missions. Seems the hotfix has the ability to affect things before it was installed...
