My lvl 3 agent only gives me 1 type of Deadspace mission, the Damsel in Distress. I havent tried any other missions but im fairly sure this is the most boring DS mission in the game.
Why is it only handing out 1 type? Surely CCP bothered to create more then 1 mission...
Can dev kick my agent in the balls with the nerfbat? Fukkuliala Aako - HLW-HP IV - Moon 1 - Serpentis Refinery
Getting the same boring mission several times a day is an effective way of killing fun ---------------------------

errr...how is that possible? You warp in, you crawl 150 km while annoying cruisers and frigates try to kill you (And fail) to the prison, you blow it up and you warp out.
No Loot, No interesting Fights, no ships worth killing and the story behind the mission makes no sense.
If my daughter was getting her ass kidnapped several times a day, even right after being brought back to the station then id be the first person to line up for helping her out of this world...
The only upside about this mission is the large piles of drugs i get as Bonus Rewards. ---------------------------

Yep, sounds like every single (brain) deadspace mission out there. Only the others don't have such cool rats, but the same non existant loot.

Yep, this mission isn't really interesting. That's why it has to be completed in less then 4 min.

Try the levle 4 variant. That's relly interesting. You sit and spam the outpost where the damsel is with missiels, crouise, for aeons. Then you redock for more so you can finish it off.
I think I have a few buckets of paint somewhere I can watch dry.

I have had 1 damsel and about 30 Search and Destroys today. The damnsel is at least 3 tims as interesting as S&D :P
But I frigging hate deadspace. What where the devs smoking when they come up with the idea that making us crawl around using AB's was somewhat fun?

Edited by: Arthur Guinness on 04/12/2004 09:32:02 zrakor ****** up pirate agent templates it seems. 8 out of the last 10 for me were Damsel in Distress.
I bug reported it, please do the same, maybe someone bothers changing it back till they can fix it.
Would be nice if Zrakor could test pirate agents himself or ask BH's todo that when he makes changes. And no, i am sure he doesn't test anything he does with pirate agents. He ****** it up the 3rd time in a week....... and it's not like it would take more than 4 missions to see something is wrong. |

Actually, I haven't touched the old templates since pre-Exodus, with the exception of a few very minor fixes with a couple of them. That is not the issue.
Also, I am not supposed to ask the bughunters to do anything, if changes are made in the code it appears in the changelists which the bughunters have access to and are supposed to test from.

- new mission with borked template asking me to kill sansha's.... - i get trade missions now, never got any before exodus, i had a 9.993 standing, so you can figure how many missions i've done - 80% of my missions are that stupid Damsel in Distress - True Power agent asking me to kill bloodraiders, who are listed as partner corp of True Power.... they do have -1 for sansha's and vice versa tough
Now are these minor changes?
There's new, untested missions. I am afraid it's not minor. |

The Blood Raider's and Sansha's Nation used to be best friends but then came the great "unknown war" were all the pirate factions shifted standing towards eachother. No explaination were ever given and most people doesn't seems to have noticed, except a few dedicated pirate agent runners like me I guess.

Whether or not any templates were changed, it is insanely annoying to get about 80% damsel in distress missions (at two different Guristas lvl 3 agent currently).
So please change it back so that there is a little bit more variety.
