This is incredible!
I have been waiting almost a week to get my buddy days from a trial account! Even though this should be an automated task, time after time let's it's customers wait needlessly for the lazyness of petitions!

Wasn't the previously an automated process that got switched to a manual one recently?
Maybe I'm making that up, though, and it was manual all along. And the person doing it starting getting stoned whilst at work.

You will need to have an active account once your friend purchases an EVE Online subscription to get your 30 days.
This is so not my main

hmm.. i am guessing the op got a buddy invite from his friend and he just made it into a paid account. if tats the case, then those 30 days will go to your friend.
If u had used a buddy invite from your main and then made it into a paid account, then those 30 days will add to your main account.
what u cant get is those 30 days in your new account that you just converted into paid from trial.

If you pay with time codes then those accounts are not considered activated and you will not receive your bonus time. CCP get more (if your european they get A LOT MORE) money from subs than time codes.

I got my bonus straight away (within a day or so)...
But why isnt subscription for a month?
When I was monthly paid my subscription date kept moving when I wanted it on 1 specific date... very unhelpfull, and the only way round it was to take my character offline for x many days

Mine went on instantly. I really mean instantly too, I had the other account info page ready to open the instant I clicked confirm transaction, and the days were added before I got there.
