I can't believe it - this is incredibly sad. I've known Dan for years, and like many others I know, he gave me my first taste for the yarr. He was always a very friendly and funny guy, which makes this all the more unexpected. This is a huge loss to everyone in EVE, and my condolences go out to his friends and family in real life.
The world just got a lot less fun. Fly safe buddy - we'll miss you...

Sad news at the loss of a great player and someone many of us considered a real friend, I have known Dan for the past 3 years also. He was always a very funny, often controversial but a genuine decent guy. Who helped many players both new and veteran.
Who will be sadly missed.
My thoughts go out to his family, friends both in real life and ingame.

Condolences to the family, however I refuse to give my respect to someone who took their own life outside of escaping a terminal illness.
Rest in Peace, regardless.

I was really sorry to hear this. Thank you Saf for telling us. Wish you all the best Dan/Alwin, may you find whatever you have hoped for that this life couldn't give you. Thank you for all that you did give to us though be it friendship, tips, fun stories or even ****tail recipes. We had a nice time with you.

I am a bit late on this topic but I would never be ok with it if I wouldn't post here.
Want to say Thank You Dantekkie, I had really one of the best times with you guys in eve and it is difficult to realize that you're not there anylonger.
For all those who know him I recorded some of the stuff we were up to together and how much fun we had this time.
