+1 to this problem also, though I doubt it is intentional. Any pre-planning of planets would have gone on before TQ went live with expansion, and randomising planets would be too hard for testing the balance of resources etc. Just a bug =) Hope ...

Just be thankful its not a "Re-install windows from trashed boot.ini" from every patch. Seriously though, most other MMO's and rapidly evolving games use some kind of rsync launcher to validate client to server, how hard would it be to implement ...
