This way people do not have immunity in losing their expensive pods, and so they can be ransomed. Immunity is hisec i understand. But being immune to losing a 3bil pod whilst pvping is not what eve should be built around. It reminds me of when motherships could not be tackled in lowsec, OH but they are soooo expensive.

Alot of Pirates/PvPers roll with faction pirate implants, as well as +5's etc. Lowsec has always followed the rule where you can get your pod out unless you run into smartbombs/lag/user error. If you expect people have juicy implants, bring smartbombs. ---

Yeah lets make all pirate implants completely useless (except for crystals, the carebears need them in high sec). Also, I hear smartbombs are very useful, atleast I have killed a whole lot of pods in low sec with them.

If pod is catched, he wasnt too skilled or got really unlucky with lag (or smartbombs, but you can see that on the km). But no matter how funny i would think it is to to pod HG slaved people, would be bad idea. (btw would still be market for those implants, enough high sec station campers).

Nobody is scared to go into 0.0, apart from carebears, who are obviously just as scared of lowsec. It's a different environment, with different rules and playstyle. It's much more solo friendly and casual friendly. Plenty of stations around to dock at, harder to camp players in, no jump bridges so gate campers are much more static, most cruisers and below can run the majority of gate camps. No bubbles means that MWDs are not as mandatory and you can bring and play around with different setups, and if you're at the wheel your pod is much more likely to survive, so people don't have to worry about losing skillpoints without an implant set plugged in, and can use more pimped implants to give them an advantage. I think it's much more difficult to find a willing PvPer to fight you in lowsec, and the majority of the PvPers happen to be gatecampers/dockhuggers, as opposed to 0.0 where the average player seems more willing to engage you. But the advantages are there, and different people like to play in different parts of the sandbox based on their preferences. Not because they are scared of second-rate alliance that will blob them. ---

However, I'm not scared one bit of lowsec or nullsec. I wouldn't take an expesive uninsured ship there, but I regularly cruize around in my Atron. Yes, I've been caught by gate campers. Not a big deal. Haven't been podded, as I've seemed to master the run away aspect of lowsec (). Really, I find WH space much more frightening than lowsec or null. The silence is creepy... and the lack of information in overview.
