Is there any way to close an office? Or do you just not pay the bill. Will the bill eventually go away if I don't pay it?

Fly to station and kill the corp hangar. Kills office. make sure its empty as you give away items in it...or if you have station warehouses this one of the 2 ways to make them go away forever painlessly so good thing to leave em there lol.

I think there is an option somewhere to close the office, however not paying the bill works as well. I remember about 3 years ago I cleaned up the offices list in my old old corp (we had about 20 offices and 2 we used) and I just right clicked and removed them. I tried it on my alt corp but wasn't able to bring up that option. However I do not have more offices than the home office so that might be toying with my abilities

When you have the access rights, there is a special "Unrent Office" button, under the Corp Hangars window.
Use that button

It's located there to remind you to check in the hangars for left over items. Simply create a contract for any items in the hangar and then cancel the contract. This neatly delivers all the items into your corp 'Deliveries' hangar (which exists in every station, even if you don't have an office). This can be useful - it means corp members with the correct roles can still collect the goods after the office is closed.
