What this thread is: A place to discuss the format, policies, third party holders, prizes and organization of my lotteries.
Current Lottery: LOLCat Lottery #1, LOLCat Shields You From Harm (Finished).
Please join the in-game mailing list "LOLCat Lotteries" for more direct updates about my lotteries, winners and promotions.
To get it started -- One policy I will be instituting in all of my lotteries is that mistaken ISK deposits will not be considered donations. If you send ISK to me for a lotto and mess up the reason or the amount, please contact me if I haven't caught it myself to get it sorted out.
I plan on running thematic lotteries, following very loosely in the vein of SOMER Lotteries. I will be focusing on thematic groups of prizes, rather than prize choice. If you have any suggestions for prize packages/themes please mail me in-game!
Similarly, from here forward I will attempt to bring more interesting promotions than merely giving away free tickets during the course of my lotteries. Again, this follows loosely the model used by SOMER in his Numerology lotteries.
I will link to this thread in my lottery OPs from here forward, and would like to use it as a place for feedback and suggestions, rather than using my lottery OPs for such.

That this thread is not : An IPO, a bond proposal or any other type of request or preparation for request of public funds. For you MD folks, this seemed like the best place to post this, since Sell Forum is not appropriate and EvE General is not either.

The MAJOR issue I have with your lottery is that is has two (2) "first" prizes and two (2) "second" prizes. That aspect is really hurting my brain.

Thanks! This is exactly the sort of feedback I was hoping to get out of this thread.
How could those five prizes have been presented in a way that would have been more coherent to you?
Would you mind sharing the minor issues you had with the lottery?

For my new lotto I thought a bit more about the formatting and phrasing. There is more going on mechanically, and more information to digest but I think/hope it is more clear. C/D?
