Who we areā
Royal Black Watch Highlanders is an organization based upon mutual respect, trust and caring. We exist solely to have fun and enjoy our time in EVE together. Many corporations require members to pay exorbitant taxes, dues, or require participation in corporate events etc. We do not. While we do have those types of events attendance is not mandatory but it would be nice to see our members at as many events as possible.
The reason we are so easygoing about members 'doing what they want' is that those of us running the corporation have been around MMORPG's for a very long time. From UO to EQ1 and every game in between up till now in EVE. Every game has guilds, corporations, clans, etc. And in all of them there has always been a common theme: Do things our way if you join us. Not so here! We believe that the most important function of any game organization is to help enable you, the members, to have FUN. As such we do not have a huge tax rate, after all it's not THAT expensive to maintain a couple offices and the website and forum.
Many members ask where we got the name from. It is borrowed from a very famous Scottish regiment in the British army. The Black Watch Royal Highland Regiment, who's history in the British military dates back to 1725. Their valor, honor and dedication to their duties won them accolades, honor and fame. We strive to live up to the proud name we have borrowed.

- Miners (Must be able to fly a retriever or mining battleship)

- Applicants must have been playing the game for at least 2 months.
- No trials other than family/friends of current members.
- No applicants with more than 8 player corporations per year in their history will be considered.

Words can't begin to describe my feelings when I first entered RBWH. Tarem Caldar stood there tall and proud on the deck of his pimped out ride. I crawled onto my knees and begged him to take me away to the stars! "I can give every star in the sky to you" his caress seemed to say....

Hey EVE!
I'm just here posting how great the corp is in general, I've logged on nearly everyday at various diffrent times and have never seen myself alone in corp!
I've also been in the various of the diffrent operations that the corp has orginised, and have yet to see any downside to them!
Also: Everyone is very aggreable! The corp generally answers my noobish questions clearly and even go as far to suggest things that are realisticly do-able by my skillset.

I'm interested in your corporation. Based upon your description it sounds like it would be a good fit for me.
I'm newly returned, I played EVE during Beta Test and again around 4 years ago in a corporation with several of my guildmates from SWG.
I'm not a total newbie, but I'm definately on that end of the scale. I've only got about 1.7 million SP, running Level II missions in a cruiser.
Not much of a resume, I know, but I'm certain I'll be able to make some valuable contributions to RBWH with a little more time and training.

After 2 years an a dozen corps, Iv's finally found a home. Good group of guys no dictators and high tax mafia leadership here. Just people who want to play and socialize. 2% percent tax and a active killboard that should say it all.

RBWH is a great place to be..
I'm a newer memeber of the corp, have always felt welcome, been involved in hi sec lvl4 mission groups. Have not felt pressured to do things, and have been always asked or reminded politely to fix my faction standing. Anytime I have logged into corp I have never seen single digit numbers.
Now can I haz my cookie?

Hey guys you sound great, im amarr flying caldari ships (drake atm) training for tech 2 gear. I have been looking for a new home where i can chill out and relax in be it in high or null sec, currently caldari/amarr mission runner and will move back into pvp when im fully tech 2, main aim is to fly a cap ship and to support roams anyway i can while having fun doing it

I'm returning to eve after a 3 month hiatus (RL stuff).
I'm a ~7 mil xp pilot. I can fly a mostly t2 fitted drake and raven. I can also fly and fully fit cov ops ships and stealth bombers. I have a lot of experience with exploration and wormholes (I spent four months in a C5 wh alliance, I have astrometrics to 5, with related skills etc.).I've also done quite a bit of trading and the like (currently improving my trade skills and planning on rounding out my BC and BS skills afterwords). I'd be interested in getting into pvp and learning the ropes, so to speak, if you'll have me.

Well as you can tell, i am a member of this corp so i am going to be bias.
However, this is a great bunch of lads and lassies and no you do not have to like Scotland and all things Scottish as the corp name suggests. Its made up of all types of folks. Miners/mission runners/pvp.
One thing you wont find yourself in this corp is bored. Humour aplenty in corp chat. Plenty of corp and alliance activites to get your teeth into.
Experienced and new alike are most welcome.

Most are not exactly being honest about it. We truly are a 23/7 corporation. There are always several pilots online that you can fly with and chat with.
Daily ops.
Regular events.
Lots of corporate projects going on that pilots can help with

Great group of people, helpful, mature, friendly, and active. Plenty of pvp ops accessible to everyone. No mandatory ops to speak of, very relaxed atmosphere. I couldn't be more satisfied with this corp.

Man I lucked out this having been the first corp I joined. I see lots of players who's employment history shows them bouncing from corp to corp to corp... not me. I guess there's many a reason we have such a low turnover rate in pilots, but I'm gonna go with the distinctive lack of douche-baggery amongst our members, great teamwork... oh, and management knows what its doing. I guess I'm trying to say RBWH kicks ass.

The greatest quality of EVE in my opinion is the ability to interact with others in any way you want to. You can scam, pirate, grief, or help, encourage and build people up to be great at the aspect of the game they enjoy the most. For the past couple years I've been in corps that extorted their own members, bullied them to be cannon fodder. I've had the privelage of being in a couple good industry corps but they lacked the pvp desire. This corp is small compared to the epic back breakers of EVE but we have a diverse group of experienced players. These guys are so much fun and sincere with their loyalty for each other, that I can finally say WE when I refer to a corp. For those of you choosing a corp choose very very carefully. I bid you all safe flying and happy hunting, and just say no to Quafe its addictive.

Awesome corp, havin an awesome time screwin with reds. Nothing like some well organized cat and mouse games in 0.0 to kick off the day. Whether its hit and run or stand up combat, there's no other pilots I'd rather have flying with me.

Sure you have probablly heard it all before, we're good people,isk making machines,we rule, only to find out they sucked, I know I have. But at Royal Black Watch Highlanders I truely found a good corp. We have good knowledgeable,helpful people. Outstanding leadership with proven track records. Ample opportunities no matter what your tastes or likes, be it mining, industry, exploring, or PVP. Come and check us out,hell it cant hurt anything.

Simply put: We may not be the most elite PVP outfit in EVE. And we certainly aren't the wealthiest outfit in EVE. But stacked up against any corporation or alliance I've ever been a part of we have the best rounded, most fun, most energetic group of pilots I've ever had the pleasure to fly with. And it's not even because of me, as CEO. Sure I recruited the pilots. But the pilots in this corp, themselves, have made us what we are. Simply put the most fun place I've ever been in EVE.
We have a little bit of everything which is nice because you really have no excuse to ever be bored in the Highlanders. There's always something else to try in EVE and, here, there's always someone to do it with.

I may or may not be a great leader (I honestly wouldn't know, I just try to keep things moving for the guys) but I certainly have the best group of people I've ever seen flying with me.

We do roams pretty much every day. We also get some PVP locally without having to roam much now and then as well.
Isk making is good, there are Pirate missions, plexes, wormholes and, of course, ratting and mining as well as anomalies.
As for being Scottish it only helps if you can play the bagpipes too :)

I may be interested in joining , I am a Minmitar PVP character with just over 2.5 million SP , I can fly up to a hurricane which i shall be able to T2 fit withing the next 24 hours.
About my pvp experiences... well recently I have mainly been solo roaming through domain/kor-azor getting a few kills from this but not a lot . prior to this i joined a few loc sec corps but they never really cut it for me mainly due to the lack of activity but i did gain some knowledge from these corps but i have never really had the chance to put them to good use.
I am EU tz so if you want to ask me some more questions feel free to eve-mail or convo me from 13:00 - 0:00 eve time which is when i am usually avaliable.

Recently joined a few days ago having been in a relatively disorganised corp with limited facilities and I have to say what a great corp to be a part of!
Everyone has been friendly and welcoming with approachable leadership and all the facilities you'd hope for from a decent sized alliance. Im sure its a home to stay in for the long term already. Always offering advice on general 0.0 sec life , ship fittings etc
No drama just like minded folk looking for some good natured pew pew, the alliance even jumped all my ships out there at no fee (tho i insisted on giving the pilot a token of my appreciation!)
10/10 - come join the fun!

Scince the last time I posted up here I've been having loads of fun with the corp, and I've somehow continued to learn more about nearly everything from those withing this corp! Its a great corp for all levels of pilots, and as long as everyone has a good time and obeys the simple rules,it's all cool.
On top of that, there is always a good amount of corpies on, so the chatbox never gets empty!

As a corp we've now grown to a nice size where we have plenty of great people on at any given time of day or night. At this point we're limiting most recruiting, save for exceptional applicants, to strictly looking for pilots who play in the west coast timezone through asian timezones to help boost our coverage and strength in the late night/early morning times.

Been a member now for just over a week, everyone has been incredibly helpful and friendly, couldn't reccommend this corp enough. Awesome people from all timezones , truly 23/7 with a lot of experienced FC's and older players always happy to offer advice on any thing eve related. whatever floats your boat in eve this corporation can provide.
I've been able to get involved in tonnes so far jumping in the deep end! split fairly evenly between organised roams and plenty of pvp delivered directly to our door  . Great fun mid sized roaming gangs , can't say enough good things about this corporation and if your looking for one with supportive and active leadership , logistics, good organisation and a genuinely great atmosphere get your application in asap , you wont be disappointed.

Still one of the best corps in the game.
What ever you do is done almost every day.
Getting to the point that we are sending out several roams a day. Good thing the local reds like to fight.
Mining (both high sec and 0.0)
Orca and Roqual support for ops
missioning round the clock
Average of 20 in corp all hours of the day.
People friendly enough that they log in to teamspeak just to chat with the rest of the people. Even if they cant log into game.
Cake and Pie for all.

I only recently joined this corp and the courage and leadership I have seen in just this short amount of time has blown me away! Strong and brave enough to defend thier space yet somehow manage to remain cool.
Very good to miners, will share Grav sites (specail mining sites) and as I said before rally a defense fleet if necessary.
I hope to be around for along time.

Joined RBWH almost a month ago and it has been the best move I have made in EVE. The corporation itself feels like a large family and your always welcome with open arms.
No matter what your profession be it pve, pvp mining or industrial then there will be a place in RBWH for you.

After a few weeks in corp, I'm finally enjoying EVE the way it's meant to be played. Losing less ships and making more ISK than ever. Leadership and corpmates are a good bunch and easy to talk to. The biggie for me is there's plenty happening during my TZ - couple of hours either side of downtime (Aussie).

as one of the corp and alliance diplomat, i am likely to be bias. but this lot of miscreants and reprobates are amongst the funniest and intelligent gang i know. Many a night passes that numbers fall asleep at the keyboard with the snoring heard over teamspeak. (you know who you are!!)
trust me this place isnt just about the pew pew and carebearing this corp is a community and has the never say die mentality. (after all they have scots in their blood.)

We continue to grow, evolve and have a blast together. The guys are still the best group of people I've ever flown with and our PVP has constantly and considerably improved from our early days. We ride the top of our alliance's Killboard and we are easily one of the most organized corps in the game. That's a pretty tall statement but it's 100% true. We have pilots on around the clock in ALL timezones and rarely, if ever, have fewer than 10 guys in corp chat, usually far more.
We have long had amazing logistics to help pilots get ships whenever and wherever they need them but we have now added in house research facilities as well as T2 production for many items and ships for our pilots.
The corp continues to grow and improve... come be part of our family.

Genuinely a great corporation to be a part of, strong coverage of all timezones EU/US/AUS. Relaxed drama free environment with mature and competent leadership. (can i have my 1b isk now Taram?)Whatever your flavour of eve we can provide.
Currently resident in Stain with plenty of opportunity for small gang PvP, plexing, wormholing, ratting etc. We are NBSI with a reasonably small blue list depending on timezone you can find pvp from as little as 1 jump to 6 jumps away why spend half your night jumping gates to find something to shoot?.
Part of a good size alliance which id like to comment on as well , why be part of an alliance that's a collection of cliques? whilst we never pretend to be the penultimate pvp entity in Eve W-A has a great atmosphere and genuinely feels like we're all part of the same family , the alliance tends to hangout in alliance channels , chat etc as opposed to people hanging out in their independant corp channels.

I joined this corp around 6 or 7 months ago, and this is by far the best corp that I know of. It's not just the corp either, the whole alliance works really well together. I am a proud member and I know i will never think about leaving this corp.
Before this corp I was stuck in empire, stuck in corp's with members who never came online, rarely any action, and dont even think about a nice pvp fleet. But in RBWH there is always more than you can count online, always a fleet, and pvp happens all the time! Heck, before RBWH I was afraid to go into null sec, but with a great corp and an amazing alliance our region in safe with friendlys in almost all local systems.
Long story short, I highly recomend anyone thinking about joining RBWH to join it! Its a decision you will never regret.

Epic corp with great ppl in it. My main has been with the corp since shortly after I started eve and this toon will be the same story. Great teamwork, good people, and that feeling you get knowing the people that are supposed to be watching your back are actually online with you and not logged off for weeks at a time.
Camraderie available in 0.0 as well as empire.

Been a member for almost 2 months now and i have to say the best group of people i've had the pleasure of playing with. Plenty of PVP without any drama/Ego's and the like. Regular roams, excellent logistics, decent isk making opportunities and a great corp to be a part of. We live out in 0.0 NPC space with all the benefits of 0.0 without the hassles of constant CTA's for sov etc.

I hate bumping cuz I feel like I'm tootin' my own horn. But we really do have an awesome group of pilots. Active, eager, love to pvp or just hang out. Our carebears all have teeth and our PVP'ers don't mind getting their carebear on to help out a friend if need be.

Its nice to be able to have some security in this game, after nearly three to four months of non-subscribing, I was able to re-join the corp and get back to the good fight in quite literally 10-15 minute!
It's nice to have some great fun once in awhile with great people...and still be able to get back in touch easily after a long absence.

I joined RBWH about a month ago now and it was really the best thing I've done in Eve so far!
Stain and RBWH is a great place that offers so much, out here you can really do whatever you think is fun.
My favorite part is the PvP because out here you get to try out both small and large scale battles and believe me, in stain there is always some action going on. =)

Nice corner of space - ppl to shoot at, rats to shoot at, rocks to shoot at (if thats what floats youre boat) - its all good and available here. Logistics well sorted - there's truly no reason to station/pos spin anymore :D

As you can see if you've read this far in the thread our pilots enjoy the hell out of this corp. I don't even try to take credit for it. My goal as the CEO is to help the pilots to enjoy the game. Because of this philosophy the corp has a great spirit and feel and everyone gets along (well except that Taram guy, he's an *******).
When I look back at when we started out and look at us today, I can honestly say I'm proud of all that we have done and accomplished together and am always eager to see where the future takes us.

Here are some cool things to do with mean and meat examples. Fried turkey, fried chicken, fried anything really. Sausages, veggie sausages. Big ass kielbasas that make men self conscience. Any sort of tubed meats. Maybe a night of "Fair Foods". Cornish game hens. Meat in loaf form. Turkey meatloaf.
Bacon. I call it "god's currency". Hell, if it could be breathed, I would. Bacon in any form is great. Not as an antree, but just in general.

So I joined many moons ago for the promise of a laid back corp populated with cool people I've known previously in Eve. All was as promised.
I stayed for the small gang PvP in NPC 0.0, it really is the most fun place to live. It seems that there is a regular supply of corps moving in/roaming through the area, with most all of them bent on PvP
On top of that we have mining ops and if you do fancy heading to empire to run level 4 missions (or you could run Sansha missions in 0.0) or Incursions, feel free.
So if CTAs in SOV space and the grind associated with it have previously put you off 0.0 living, come give us a look. Who knows, you may like the "buncha Hippies" (hi Aleks o/) lifestyle as much as I do.

The corp leaders are seriously into fun PvP. FUN pvp and the emphasis is on the 'FUN' ! They know how to do it and They know how to teach it. The fun and the PvP both.
The ops are plentiful and fun. Some are ordinary; Some are odd. Mandatory attendance is rarely required; But you usually want to join them just for the PvP ! |

It's almost been a year since I joined R.B.W.H and because of the mature family aspect I love this corp almost as much as EVE. RBWH and the Warped Aggression alliance are a wicked fun group of guys to fly with. I flew with the alliance for over 7 months, and have very little to gripe about. Taram and the rest of the RBWH leadership are very helpful even to those outside the corp.

We've been keeping it real for 3+ years now. If you're looking for a corporation that's organized, has goals and meets or exceeds them regularly, has a strong industry and logistics backbone and still manages to remember that this is 'just a game'. Then look no further.

Capital and Supercapital pilots welcome always. FC experience and a willingness to step up and lead are always much sought after qualities in pilots looking to join us. RBWH has a large number of FC's but we always want more.
Leave any elitist attitudes at the door, however. We're a group that doesn't tolerate drama, hyper-egos or asshattery.

today ive now been In Black Watch for a year, and its been an amazing year. We've gone from barely holding a system in stain to holding three constellations in Stain, and now Eight Sovereign systems and an outpost. Never have I thought id see the things ive seen, from huge supercap fights, to five guys taking out twelve, to a falcon dieing to an afk carrier. I know the next year will be great and were extending the invitation to you.

RBWH is a great corp, full of very insightful and helpful members. We've got it all from Industry in 0.0, small gang warfare, to 1000+man blob fights. Whatever it is you like in EVE, RBWH has what you need. The leadership is amazing, the direction is always progressive and they look out for the well-being of the corp rather than their pockets.
