So, I go AFK for 2 days, and the last I hear is H-W is going down and we're gonna lose our first system of the war. . .
I check dotlan today and I find that not only is H-W still a MM system but I see the sov blockade units have been killed along with a -a-, IT, TORMENTUM, COW and gentleman's club large POS.
Not that I'm complaining but. . . What happened?!

Ehhm sry but ehhm.... where have you been the past 3 months? NC have lost several systems in the war, some have been regained others have not.

Whenever someone says "we are going to..." I become very skeptical. Generally your should ignore such comments.

Dotlan, though not entirely accurate, is a decent way to get updated. A better way is to ask your corporation members. Ask them how and perhaps why things happened.

I see no complaints in your post. I do see a question. Why are you asking in CAOD what happened. What is the point. All you are likely to get, is more spam and contentless post from the usual suspects.
In an attempt to deliver actual unbiased information, I am telling the story from my perspective.
We had agreed to meet up early to take on the huge task of trying to kill or re-reinforce five iHubs and a few other bits like stations, towers and TCUs. In response, the northern coalition had to do something.
We met up as agreed and much to mu surprise (and delight,) we quickly piled a lot of ships into H-W locking down the system, killing offlined small caldari towers that had been left at each of the unused moons. I myself helped build a pos at planet ten, moon three (sadly now dead, *sniff*)
The move to H-W was a calculated risk. I got the impression that we had a plan, and knew how to control and manipulate events to a favorable outcome. The execution was almost flawless (bar a few lag-related mishaps.) Once in system, the northern coalition focused heavily on staying on top. This forced them to decide between H-W or the large list of other vulnerable targets. As pointed out in on of the other threads, we think, that our allies did a very good job. Working their asses off, they killed and disabled as much as possible while our enemy was occupied elsewhere. They did manage to organize somewhat, but by then the intended damage had been done.
We have lost, and will possibly loose a fair few in H-W, but as long as our enemy is fighting there, he is not fighting elsewhere. For the NC, it must be refreshing to have a shorter trip to the front line (am I right guys?.)
Also today, my corp (the best in the whole world,) managed to evacuate an Avatar titan and some capitals from our bubbled pos in H-W. Naturally I would have liked to stay, but the tower had less than three hours left on reinforce. Judging from the reaction in local chat, our extraction was, lets say, traumatic for some of them
If I was asked to summarize, I would say, that a lot of ships were moved. A lot of ammo was used to shoot inanimate objects, and a lot of spam was typed in local. A LOT of other stuff DID take place while 1600 players were effectively stuck in H-W - and that, I think, was the whole point.
Now stop making new threads

It was simple game,atack MM system and u will get NC attention!
I don't think Vuk Lau will defend MH when MM system is under siege.
Great job Evoke and CH and the rest off allies.
Great fights NC in H-W hope we will get more!
