Edited by: CCP Zirnitra on 12/05/2010 22:13:30 Hi guys and girls,
We have now updated Singularity with a new build. However, we have currently not enabled the autopatching system, so you will need to manually download and install the patches to be able to connect to Singularity, until we decide to enable autopatching. Below you will find a list of patches, and full installers you need to connect. When you install the patches, make sure it installs onto your Singularity installation, as it will default to install on the primary EVE installation, which might cause you to not be able to connect to Tranquility without reinstalling your EVE client.
Previous Singularity (151334) version to new TQ to Singularity Full Windows installer Full Mac installer
Unfortunately we do not have the Mac patches available at this point, but once autopatching is enabled they will be available as well.
Enjoy, and as always, please report any problems you find through the Bug Reporting website, and the ECAID volunteer team will make sure they get the attention they deserve.
Note: Since this is a release candidate, you will need to make sure you have added /server:singularity to your shortcut, to ensure you will connect to Singularity instead of Tranquility, which will not work.

Were those Patch Notes I saw in the installer (and promptly ignored so I could apply the patch)?

Yes. Lots of them:

These will probably differ from the actual notes (always happens), but yeah... By the way, this is my signature.

Make sure the shortcut is correct. You used to auto-connect to the test server, but it doesn't with the release builds. By the way, this is my signature.

you have to add the /server:singularity bit at the end of the shortcut or it'll try to connect to TQ instead of Sisi, and show incompatible. _____________________ Horrors! Demons in the deep! |

I'm confused...where exactly do you add the "/server:singularity"
I patched but did not do this and am thus getting incompatible
And I can't figure out where to add that bit

you adding /server:singularity after eve.exe in the target box but make sure you leave a space "eve.exe /server:singularity" hope this is clear.
also first major difference iv spotted is storage is now only 5000m3 :/

you have to create a shortcut of your eve.exe from the folder you have installed the test server client in. then rightclick the shortcut and go to properties and change the target location to what has been explained in the above posts.

All patches should now be available through EVE Patches - Singularity (Test) in the left side menu. |

How do you tell the Mac client to connect to the Singularity server? I edited my Info.plist file (the only place I have been able to find eve.exe listed) but if I add /server:singularity the app no longer opens. I used the full Mac installer for the current SiSi build/release build. ~Wyyr |

Interim patches are indexed by this great site: http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php Find your current SISI build # in the list on the left side, and follow the line across to the correct column for your OS. You'll need to install two consecutive patches to bring it up to date.

Just tried to follow the link above and it said I had a Mac client and tried to download a _mac update. I'm running Windows 7 .
I found the correct one here; http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php
