Those are some nice pic's Nym. The station exploding was awesome. In my opinion it was worth every 0.28isk per hp just to watch the thing go up in a ball of flaming glory :-P

As far as i know, none of the ships took any damage from the explosion. I figure it is the same as destroying a structure in a complex. Those to make nice explosions, but don't seem to have any effect on surrounding entities.

Well to answer some questions perhaps. The station had no defenses in place. This is due to an accidental encounter with a pirate player heading to a moon to scan the surrounding area. This such pirate happened to come across a lone gellente control tower. There wasn't any defenses present so he inquired if he could shoot at the tower and be safe. We were under the impression that it would retaliate in some way. Anyway, said pirate was sitting there checking it out and low and behold an amarr indy warps in notices the pirate and quickly logs off. About 30 seconds later a mammoth indy warps in. That player also logs off but this time the pirate gets the indy warp jammed before it has time to warp out. The mammoth is destroyed. Open the dropped cargo and low and behold... station turrets and defenses. Apparently they were in the process of setting up the station, they just happened to pick the wrong time to try it. As far as attacking the control tower. At times the force feild would come on and would knock your ship out to about 35km from the tower. Although the forcefeild was up we could still hit and deal damage to the tower. After an extended time of bombardment the forcefield would deactivate allowing us to get closer. As for me i was there for the final siege. Hope this info helps. And perhaps clears up some speculations as to how we did it. I believe we just happened to catch them with there pants down so to speak.
