long story short, liam left the game
Sadly this is true, i had to leave nearly without notice all the stressfull things i was doing in eve, added to the problems in rl it was ruining my health, due to that i had no time to fix up a new leadership before leaving, let's say that what happened lately is mostly my fault
Well done Liam, you did very well as a leader according to my sources, I hope you can relax a bit now you've quit eve. Good Luck Mate.

Originally by: IronGoldenEagle Hmmm, facts seem to show that what, 4 of the corps that left were the top 6 in stats on your own kb. I'm sure they just weren't living up to the standards of EDF that provided 6 BSs for the final defense of A1.
Sys-k was the epitome of fail and their 3000 + 4000 allies could not overcome 1000 C0VEN AND Stain so lol.
Stain Empire and Coven have read from the book that lots of us haven't read.
Even still i have respect for sys-k and I will not riddicule them in any way. Managing large groups of people will always be a difficult task. To say that sys-k failed is wrong, ultimatley i respect them for trying.

Lightningshade, oh I get it, another " I hate Aaron thread"
Funny you should mention the people I "managed", they thought they new better than me and joined sys-k thinking they would be better off in Stain Wagon. The people I "managed" wanted to be NBSI, I wanted them to be NRDS so we fell out and started fighting.
Now these guys are back dwelling near me and they dislike me because I was right and they were wrong.
I could manage a big alliance, however, block heads like you would not listen cos you think you know better when you actually don't.
Just like Liam I have no interest in managing people like you and I'm happy just to have a small group of buddies and have some FUN. Think before you type your nonsense Lightningshade u really haven't got a clue.

why the fail cascade?
I'd not normally post here but I'll explain it as best I can and then the trolls can go to work.
Some months ago, a decision was made by the then Alliance leadership to change to a quantity over quality approach to recruitment. This had repercussions when c0ven and SE decided to attack our soverignty. CTAs would be called with fleet composition focus on Sniper Battleships and alot of corp's members where turning up in T1 Cruisers/Battlecruisers or not turning up at all. Similary, despite our having a large number of Dreads and Carriers, Corps and/or their members where unwilling to commit them meaning we where outmached in the Capital department. There was also a communications break down between Primary and Sys-K (this was our fault, not theirs) resulting in them often not knowing about CTAs undermining their attempts to help us. When we lost A1, a decision was made to pull back to our Period Basis holdings and get back to our roots as a PvP Alliance. The interium Leadership made a decision of who should stay and who should go, based upon several factors:
1. Did they bring the right ships to fleets? 2. Where these ships fitted correctly? 3. Size of their Cap fleet and willingness to field it. 4. Was their primary focus on PvP?
Each corp. not chosen to remain where told the reasons why, asked to turn over the station to our infrastructure Corp. and given a default five day withdrawl time with extensions given upon request and help offered to evac assets. A couple of Corps decided to leave of their own volition. The majority of CEOs whilst obviously disapointed, where understanding and co-operated with our requests. Two were not. This resulted in our having to take back one of our own stations in Period Basis with a little help from our friends in LR and RKK (thank you to both).
Our focus now is on securing our Period Basis holdings and bringing the fun back to our burnt out pilots. I'll not deny Systematic Chaos was on the verge of a fail cascade but contrary to the belief that we did, these steps allowed us to keep the core of the Alliance together and prevented that very thing from happening. Hopefully over the comming months, you'll see a very different Systematic Chaos from the one we were prior to these changes.
sounds like a well thought out plan.
