Why is it that the Tech II Neutron Blasters use 7 cpu more than Tech I blasters when:
Tech II Projectile guns only use +2 more, Tech II Laser guns ony use +3 more.
Now the Megathron is not what you would call gifted with CPU and PG and you have made these guns almost impossible to fit. Its the same sort of ratio for medium's as well..I could understand a +4 cpu usage but 7
So any chance of taking a look at this because at the moment its silly to try and use them, and dont even get me started on the other problems with these guns and the Megathron in general

Yep you are correct Dark, but the Apoc can deal with the extra pg % better than the Megathron can deal with the cpu usage.
The powergrid and cpu usage on the blasters combined just makes these guns not really usable.

Well it doesnt actually matter if the grid increase is in line with other guns..The problem is that Large hybrids have high pg fitting and terrible cpu fitting,And when you make them even higher it just basically stops them being remotly effective on the Mega.
So if the guns are in line and are correct with other guns then there must be a Problem with the ship.Either way the mega needs more cpu and pg..or the guns need to be lowered in cpu.
Again at the momement tech II large hybrids are not an option to use on a Megathron, other tech II guns will fit and are VERY usable on there chosen ship.

Nope all tech II projectiles use +2 cpu usage above standard..but like you say its easier to fit named because your set-up is so nerfed its not effective,on a Megathron at least.
Again the guns might be fine and the ship is the problem as the mid slots for a blasterthron are a must fit item and are very pg--cpu intensive. Anyway may be nice to get a Devs thinking on the issue
