I think the above couple of posters misunderstand: I just want to see her blown up, and add her corpse and, hopefully, her tears to my collection. I don't expect this to have any impact on CSM politics whatsoever. I'm doing this sheerly out of sadism and spite.

I would like to point out, everyday, after I get off work, I pound a 12 pack of PBR, drive my truck through every stop light, come home and beat my wife, log on to eve, and gank hulks just to watch people cry in local.

she can think whatever she wants about PVPers. The people who voted for her are going to find out real quick any changes she wants will be nullified by the other CSMs.

Half the people that complain and whine about the pvpers and griefers to start with are the ones that when someone asks a question or asks for help, tell them that this isn't WOW and then they try to turn it into WOW.
Oh and in RL I'm a US Marine. I'm not on the front lines killing people, but I aint a "Candy a$$".
I PVP cause it gives me a rush. I grief because people actually cry about this stuff. If you are that sensitive about a video game.. How do you handle real life? Are you one of those kids that breaks down and cries when the manager tells them they are getting their hours cut cause they suck? I help people realize that no matter what you lose, you can get it back.
And most of the time game mechanics stand in our way when we are trying to grief you the only thing that allows us to do it is your stupidity. We teach lessons that will truely help you in EVE. Learn them.

Agreed. I'd suggest someone like Chribba, LaVista Vista or Winterblink (if they'd even be willing to do it).
I'd also suggest that all the ISK, including the megaloot that Ralara is putting up, be broken up into bite sized chunks for individual ganks, rather than as a grand sum. I mean, hell, for 2.5 billion ISK it's worth it to someone to pay a few friends to pod them in Empire space and then they go laughing all the way to the bank. If it's stuck at, say, 200 mil per kill, max, it's a bit better.
Especially if the contract stipulates a minimum ship size. Otherwise you put up 2.5 bil for a single kill and Ankhybonkybonkers just hops into a shuttle (or just undocks in her pod) and has a friend pod her, and you're out 2.5 bil and they're 2.49 bil richer.

If we start managing to get multiple ganks, we should have some kind of corpse rotation between the folks who are paying out, too. That way we all get a piece :)

I find it somewhat disturbing that a person who -genuinely- believes violence in a game that promotes PVP to be morally reprehensible, and that people who participate in such activities are "sick", would be elected.
Ank does not need a CSM spot, Ankh needs some councelling and a firmer grasp on the division between fiction and reality. The players that engage in PVP are very aware that it is just a game, which is why they do it in the first place, and are of sound mind, and non-violent in the real world outside of EVE.
In a sense we are enabling her real-world delusions about how thing are, and THAT is the real tragedy here.
That's pretty much all I care to say on the matter.

To be quite honest, the hatred of Ankh gave be reason to consider this CSM candidate.
It's not that Ankh is right about anything - for these matters are that nobody would ever agree on what was right or who could be right. But Ankh is a demagogue, and when I see a demagogue being attacked by people whose own natures are questionable, it makes me think that the target of such attacks are more likely to have redeeming qualities.
All I could ever give Ankh credit for is experimenting with funny ship fits. I did not vote Ankh for CSM though.
Somehow I think that Ankh's placement is managing to grief C&P.

She tried this with me one day after setting and managing the store from 5am, to which I promptly told her the best solution was to turn around, walk out of the door and F*** off down the road to Tesco.

Having worked for the Co Op at one point in my life for 2 years as a manager, all things listed here made me a little nostalgic of war that is customer service. The glorious returning of empty orange bags complaing that they were sour, but eating them anyway, and I once had a joint of beef returned, cooked, about 9/10 of it eaten, complaining it was too tough. Like you I simply told them to get stuffed and learn to cook.

As for the rest of it... Why in the hell should you care? Each lifestyle has its pro's and cons.. yea mission running pays, but its boring as hell... so boring in fact your biggest risk is falling asleep at the helm and losing your bloody ship. null Sec is a bit more exiting... if you can survive the lag fests with your ship intact (last time i died my screen had not updated for 10 min and none of my moduals were cycling... fun times) Constantly having your higher ups screaming at you to get in fleets and pretty much having someone else tell you what you can do with your game time 80% of the time (lets hear it for the Former Foundation) or you can try to make it in low sec where it pretty much is a lets hunt each other free for all, cant actually do anything productive reliably. My game is, i Hang out in Nul sec trying to stick to the smaller gangs during the weekdays, JC back to empire for the weekends cause thats family time and i cannot make any uninterrupted time for fleets/ voice com's to maybe run a few missions as i have time, make a small nest egg for the next week and then i jump back out Monday morning and do it all again. Low Sec is worthless for me.. Really they are misnamed, Nul Sec is realy low sec, and low sec has no security at all.
My Point is, when a player plays long enough, they will expand.. I played the empire game off and on for 3 years. Back out in nul sec again playing the mini empires game. Let those play the eve game they want to play... kicking back for an hour blowing up NPC's with your friends can be very rewarding way to spend an evening, and can form lifetime game partnerships. Do not assume just because someone is playing the empire game they are playing solo... now excuse me, a clown just entered my system and seems to be hanging out.. i want to go say hi ;)

/remembers the 'good old days' of working for M&S and the countless hours of dealing with idiots and their problems including:
- A bloke returning a frozen cuecumber (3 days later) that insisted it was bought frozen from us and our fridges were malfunctioning.
- A bottle of vodka with the contents replaced with water and the cap very badly superguled back on.
- Being told by some person to give them 1/3rd of a 4 pack of beer because he only wanted to buy one and that I didnt know basic math (that'd be a quater then dipstick).
- A middle aged businessman returning two *burnt* disposible BBQs under the pretence that they 'didnt work'
But the true icing on the cake was some bottom dwelling scab of a woman who would come into our store and deliberatley find stuff to moan about (and then whine to as many staff as she could to provoke a variety of responses). She tried this with me one day after setting and managing the store from 5am, to which I promptly told her the best solution was to turn around, walk out of the door and F*** off down the road to Tesco.
Customer service is a battlefield people!
here you're only dealing with amateur trolls, in customer service you're dealing with professionals
If only you could gank them as they enter and leave the store, it would be worth working a cash register despite the low pay.

She's everything wrong with the Eve playerbase. She's a carebear. And it's been proven through logs that she isn't the kind that keep it cool and together after something bad happens, she is the kind that foams at the mouth and says things that cross the line to other players concerning personal information in a malicious and barbed manner.
I dunno. I'm going to let her have her 15 minutes of fame. As I said before, all ideas she brings up to the board are going to be shot down due to their blantant disregard to any PVP pilots ability to play the game on how it should be played.

lol these Ankh threads are so full of fail, you guys are as bad as the EVE is dying guys. One persons view on the CMS doesn't mean much by itself, thats why there are another 8 delegates to discuss the various topics brought up by the community (who are all from different backgrounds themselves). Regardless, at the end of the day CCP may or may not choose to take any of these ideas brought up on board ...it is their vision after all.
Ps - if a person bothers you this much to whine about it on the forums go after them yourselves, trust me it's much more rewarding.

Delilah does appear to be slightly mad... but even if you are for some crazy reason, anti-pirate, you can still object to Ankh on general principles. Ran Khannon posted a video in the C&P channel from which one can deduce two salient facts. One, she's actually technically a politician, given she's running for a seat in Dutch Parliament (as someone else has also mentioned). Two, when she talks, it sounds like someone is molesting a goose. Those sound sufficent reasons to take out a bounty on someone for me. The whole anti-piracy thing is just gravy.
