I've put through 10 batches of invention and every single one of them has come up as unsuccessful.

A flip of one coin does NOT influence the outcome of the next flip... same for invention. Learn how probability works. Yeah, the chances of that happening are most likely low (don't know your skills), but it's not impossible, and it gets more probable with each successive failure.
example: .48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48 (10 runs) is the original start number. A very low chance... but if you fail the first time, then it's only .48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48*.48 (9 runs remaining), if you then fail again... 8 runs.... it gets increasingly more probable that all things will be failures the more you fail. Granted, what happened to you was an incredibly low P value--still all things are technically possible with probability.
Over time though, it should balance out... aka: If I flip a coin 10,000 times, chances are about 5000 of them will be heads and 5000 of them will be tails (assuming an even coin). |
