Originally by: Icee Mehki So I love the new Scorpion model, seeing as how I run missions with a CNS. Only trouble is, with lvl 5's in low sec, and even most my lvl 4's in low sec, I don't get a chance to use it anymore, or the rattlesnake I just bought. 12/13 of the lvl 4 missions I checked last night were in low sec. Prior to patch, it was about 1 in 6 were in low sec. I have 2 characters with about 10 mil SP each purely in mission skills and could make about 200 mil isk a day before patch. After it, I have made 1.5 mil TOTAL. I flew from agent to agent with both characters and couldn't get but 1 mission in high sec, and it was drones which are worthless now.
The tengu and CNS that I normally run missions are worth 6 bil isk combined and are effectively useless. They have effectively nerfed mission running as a source of income completely. I'm not even complaining about the loot drop nerf... I have only been able to run 1 mission (not for lack of trying)
I find incredible that they completely wiped this methode of isk maing all together. And even more so that they did so without mentioning it before hand.
Seriously upset with CCP (and that is a first!), up till now I haven't had any problems with them at all. I really hope that they fix this otherwise there is not really anything to keep me playing since I will have to either switch to mining or something else to make any money. Seeing as how much time and energy I invested in setting up the system I had for missioning, it will be really hard to basically start over. I want to get into PvP but not be forced into it!!!
I seriously agree with this, Ive been a mission runner for many years now and all I get is low sec mission offers. The load balancing crap is just gonna back fire big style. People running missions in the high sec systems that border low sec areas are now just vacate and move back to the big mission hubs like Auvergne and therefore just put even more stress onto these already packed out systems. You've gone from one extreme to another and need to think of taking a few steps back.
