What the point of releasing this patch before June 8th. Really, 99.9% of the people don't care about anything you put in here except the planetary expansion. Why did you even bother, might have well just delayed it again.
You remove a major source of income to a lot of people and say this will help alleviate it. Yet for two weeks missioner will be out of pocket roughly 50-60% of their income.
Good Going CCP. Was thinking of renewing my sub after this was done, thing i'll just pass now.

The command centers will be seeded in a week so players who have been on singularity will not have an advantage over other players. Makes perfect sense to me.

what advantage. so they know where the planets are lol. who cares, they have what a 3h head start on most of us. Not worth delaying the seeding by 2weeks.
And i'll still run mission, but by removing T0 loot from it they basically have removed 40-60% of my income. So ya.

Seriously, the amount of QQ going on in these forums is absolutely pathetic. The last thing I (we) want to hear about is some dude *****ing about something that was mentioned in the patch notes.

Untill the prices go up due to the smaller amount of minerals being dropped... then it'll probably equalise.
I agree though, just seems stupid to wait so long. It takes less then 15 minutes to train the initial skill needed, and about the same to read the Eve Uni guide... why the hell do we need to wait 2 weeks to get started?

I was waiting for one of these. seriously dont you read any of the news from ccp. or read the awesome dev blogs. They stated this when they posted the news about Tyrannis being delayed. http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=762
Here also. Patience and i really dont think you are losing out on money. Do something else if it really hurts. But CCP was well overdue in fixing the loot drops in missions. Should of been fixed ages ago.

Learn to adapt. Learn to read. This change has been known for quite some time.
For the record, I have my concerns about the loot table changes and I don't exactly trust CCP's judgment. However, crying about it on patch day is truly futile. I would even say, juvenile.

Now my only real source of mins is from the yawn fest that mining is, which really yawn not worth it.
Whether you get the minerals from loot or buy them off the market, the cost is exactly the same. Or do you assume that the replacement loot does not hold the same value as the stuff it replaces, and if so, what do you base this assumption on? ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

well actually that looked like... a joke, or an april's fool made by ccp to players... "here's the planets!" and "hahaha you can't colonize them!" it's like CCP is making fun of the community, they wanted to delay? sure delay away, but I really see NO sense in not putting the most important part of the whole expansion, they could have done full release on 8th of june instead of.. simply insult our intelligence giving us a "treat" serving us a dish of T bone steak.. without the steak.

ya i read the patch notes, yes i read the forum. But never saw that thing about the delay until well after the patch was out. They could just have waited on the 8th. nothing else in this expansion couldn't have waited 2 weeks really. Without Planetary Interaction this patch not even worth the 18h it took them to deploy it.

\o/ I think we are the only ones that read the news posts as we log in or using igb. Although truthfully they could have waited. but it gives us all time to get the skills trained. which looks like lvl5 in most prob be done by june. Also we can work out what stuff mixes with what.

For a LONG time you basically stole miners off their only job and shown no concern.
It's about time to stop being a freeloader and BUY from people who are specialized in such a boring job.

You know sad fact is i'm a miner too, but mining so freaking boring that i stopped doing it (i have all freaking refining to 4 or 5).

So now i have to buy the mins, which mean i have to transport them. The time i spend doing all that i loose doing missions which in turns means lost of income.
If t0 refining was 40-60% of your income you are doing something terribly terribly wrong. Either you are running l4 missions in an incurses or you're just plain bad.
T0 loot was MAYBE 5% of my total income. The best way to mission run has always been to blitz them in a marauder and only loot things while you were still shooting things. Barring that you went to the next mission and didn't loot anything. ~~ Hyey

Don't worry, with removal of insurance the minerals making up the rat droppings will be worth approximately squat soon enough anyway.
And in summary, bigger blobs are the answer. Now what was the question? |

I think someone thinks minerals from missions were free. This patch is actually a buff to missions unless your new to level 4's or use a marauder.

I'm so sick of all these missioners crying their eyes out when miners have been taking the shaft since... well since always.
"You mean I can't get free mins anymore and flood the market making an entire proffession incredibly redundant!? This is sooooo unfair!!!" You poor poor missioners, however will you cope?
