Did it twice tonight, helping confused rookies.
Best fun I have had in a long while, most lvl v's have nuets so require gimped passive ships, this was all out Active tank and gank. Second time did it alone in my trusty old kronos with pimped fit.
Mission owner buzzed around trying to chase down the elite frigs in his catalyst
This is like a mini Armageddon day for Rookies.

One thing that this mission is doing successfully is bringing normally solo mission runners to work together, in the system I was in last night many calls for help were being answered and the mission being done in groups, surely this is a good thing. The rewards are sufficient for 3 or 4 players to get a decent return plus learn how the mission running endgame looks. I hope CCP has the foresight to keep it as a feature.
Actually it takes me back 5 years to when I joined a group of 15 vets and Rookies to do the huge Amarr fleet on that lvl 2 mission, cant remember the name, the fleet isn't a mission requirement but it will attack if approached. as a week old rookie,I was in awe of the Raven spewing Torps at the huge battleships well over 100km away (pre nerf) the rest of us were dying like flies.

Looks like everyone is getting this mission, I just did it another 3 times for Sisters.
Mach and kronos with various frigs and cruisers, done in 20 minutes or so each without looting time.

Originally by: Philip Richardson Edited by: Philip Richardson on 01/06/2010 17:54:38 Got this mission today on one of my alts doing level 2 missions for Caldari Navy. It is NOT restricted to any one faction.
Going to hang on to it since I can get reinforcements in to take it down.
If this is by design (level 4/5 difficulty in the level 1/2 rotation), the person who decided it's by design probably needs a good Nerf Vulcan unload on them.
Take your gang in and enjoy yourself, you will learn a lot and be rewarded. The mission yields over 200 mill in total, plenty even for a large gang to share.

Originally by: SabotNoob Been reading the other posts in this thread and folks have made mention of warp scrambling frigates. We jumped in and out at least 5 times and never ran into any of them. It must vary from person to person?
Is this why people have been losing so many ships? By being scrambled (warp)?
I have done it 6 times now and had webbers and scramblers in the second room each time.
They are Elite frigs and hard to kill for lo skill T1 weapons. I was stuck for ages with my T2 Hammers, long after all the BS and cruisers were down. switching to Warriors on subsequent missions did the trick.

I just got materials for war prep from a sisters lvl 4 agent :(
Locals are still getting the "party" from lvl 1 missions so I am not sure if lvl 4's are giving it.
