Edit: but atleast I got plenty of time to make it very clear how I feel about this while my mega crawls along the 100km to the next gate.
Yeah I wouldnt recommend trying it with any sort of close range setup. And crawling around in a mega gives one time for all sorts of philosophical wonderings.
Yeah, would have worked fine though, if I was still fighting the npcs I've fought for so long, but no in all their "wisdom" besides all mentioned trouble, I'm also fighting angels and bloods, and lets say that If I'd known that I would have to fight them, I wouldn't be flying a deimos ( as soon as I replace it yet again ) ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

oh and about the group thing, when I enter any stage of that mission, they're not grouped, they're all over the place, and shoot one, and everything comes after you. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

Heres somethjing totally foreign to the EVE community...PICK UP Gangs.
The game is beeter off encouraging individuals to work in gangs.
If you wanna solo, you can, just use a BS...but to really get the HIGH END missions you must socialise. Hence MMORPG

"Heres somethjing totally foreign to the EVE community...PICK UP Gangs."
It might be foreign because in game where PVP is allowed everywhere, getting in random gang with a stranger will usually get you ganked...

And when will people such as yourself get it through their thick skulls that lvl 3 missions have been and should remain the soloers domain.
lvl 4 is high end missions, go socialize there, but ffs give me back my lvl 3 missions. And I'm using a battleship now, doing the 165km from gate to final npc in the last stage of a 5 stage deadspace mission. And such fun it is, i've never ever been so bored playing eve. And I'm taking a vacation. Before I quit over this, and I'm mighty close.
Missions used to be fun, I've done thousands, atm I'm doing them cause I wanna see if I just get unlucky and got all the crap missions. But it's not bad luck, they're just all crap.
Deadspace is the worst thought out addition to the game ever. Making them into missions worse, and the actually combination is a nightmare. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

Just finished lvl3 version of this (5 x deadspace) with my Crow. Took lots of Bloodclaws and few warp off runaways to complete
Just try to find out and destroy those webber frigs first.
Got two of those Overseer's (or something like that) from loot. Both from structures. Another was from Radiating Telescope (took ~300 missiles to destroy)...
Took all night (along with RL stuff) to finish this, but it sure was fun

The point is: is it doable in a cruiser/battlecruiser? Reading what has been written by many agent runners, no. And this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wrong, imho.
It is doable as long as you take lots of ammo. It is about the best laid out mission I have ever had. When you warp into a section you will crap yourself when the scanner lights up. But the fact is you will only be under attack from 4-6 rats at any one time unless you run into the middle of the area.
It is basically 4 normal deadspace missions linked together with a few more rats then normal. Running out of ammo is a problem (as you have to go back to the start if you warp out , and waste time travelling between warp in point and accel gate). The big bad boss at the end is a 130K (IIRC) cruiser with two webbing drones (that go 5Kms), but the drones can be provoked to attack without aggroing the boss. They are tough little buggers, but do pretty much no damage. And then you just have to blow up structures (for overseer personal effects) and sentries.
Fairly easy as long as you arent a complete moron and aggro all the rats in a section at once.
I'll ask it straight: did you do it in a cruiser? Or are you just figuring out that it should be doable if... and if... and if... ?

Pick up gangs when you are flying stuff worth millions (or tenth of millions) of ISK? No, thx. We are not playing EverQuest, where if you wipe (due to misunderstandings and to not knowing each other style of playing) you take a rezz and everything is ok.
Again, shouldn't be lvl 4 missions the ones designed for team up? From what many (most) of us have understood, yes.
So, again, why this change? More, why this -STEALTH- change?

Kudos for your result Tomas !

But... isn't this maybe too much time? I mean, I cannot stay connected hours to make a lvl 3 mission (casual player with a lot of RL stuff going on here). Does this not look wrong? For level 3?

Not true; sometimes when you open up on a close group everything aggros on you. They nrmally just target you, but sometimes will come over and attack.

It's certainly doable in a Cruiser and a BC. Did it in the Prophecy just with spare parts lying about and the skill at level 2. This was my second post-exodus level 3 mission, I just wanted to try out the Prophecy (the first was just a standard Mordu's I believe).
The Maller would likely have done as well, as I have Cruiser at 4, giving higher resists, even if the 1 less guns would have meant I'd take longer doing it.
Although harder than pre-exodus level 3 missions, my opinion is that the mission is not too hard. It's a good mission I'd like to see more of. Just don't do it in an Osprey _________________________________________________ War transcends all barriers of species, race, religion, and civilization. |

Show me a FRAPs of that. I do lvl 3 missions as my main in game money maker, and I have never had a group aggro me unless I shoot them or get very close.
They specifically changed deadspace a day ago by adding accleration gates to deadspace missions *solely* with the purpose that you wouldnt aggro all the rats when you warped in.
