We invaded and crushed IAC our blue neighbours who were seriously weakened by defending themselves from MC. After Goons had been slogging it out for years against bob we thought the time was right to jump in for an easy victory. We failed. Looking for the next easy fight we decided too steam-roller the role players and other newish alliances that make up the providence bloc. We will name them the providence blob because it makes us feel better when we bring out all our Supercaps we stockpiled while sitting on the fence during the first great war. Pummped up over our easy victory in Providence we went north as part of the biggest Invasion force ever assembled we expected an easy victory against the northen alliances who we consider more carebear than pvp. Sadly we discovered the north is not like providence and the locals have as much firepower as we do. -A- are a joke who can do nothing but overwhelm smaller foes and have no idea how to take on people anywhere near their own size.

Have to disagree with you seriously there. IIRC, IAC leadership hurled some choice insults AAA's way which prompted a quick invasion to tell the leadership not to insult them again like that. And IAC tried to defend for a bit, but it became apparent that our leadership had decided to not log in, and nobody knew WTF was going on, so corps said screw this and left. (Also they got wind that it was the leadership that brought this on, and said 'screw it') From what I heard later on, AAA didn't want to wipe out IAC, they were going to take a few systems, then leave, but we kinda folded because leadership took a hike. And taking Prov was the last option for AAA. They made offer after offer of "We don't want to take this ****, just say you won't attempt another invasion into our space and we'll leave". CVA refused and lost prov. And this is my view while being in both IAC when it died, and Prov when it died ------------------------

I did not state the reason for these invasions quite simply because -A- will spin anything to make it justified. As for offering peace deals dont make me laugh. The only reason -A- offer a small peace deal towards the end of a conquest is because they want somone under their control living as a buffer against any new neighbours. Who in their right mind would seriously want to live like that?

With sealing the deal to provi's conquest , A new inspiration of ideas were tossed in a hat afterwards, of what to do with provi , and that was " Give new coming alliances a chance to grow and succeed with out the worry of POS warfare , aswell as to provide everyone with targets . After all , whats provi without targets. Just another dead place of space. --------------------

Most of the people who made it what it is have left the game. But that's just what happens in games, it happened to bob, it will happen to PL.
